I managed to stop after 12 or so listens. It's more of a mess than I remember the first time but it's a brilliant mess.

I'm pretty sure someone a few years back did that song really well. Maybe the kinda fat Irish girl from season 6.


anyway, her performance this week was good, last week was outstanding.


I think she can improve though.

Finally Katelyn getting some love on here. I think I was the only one last week to mention her as a stand out.

imo, didi and kate aren't going too far in the competition.

Agree with the sentiment that Didi was far better than the judges made her out to be. She wasn't nearly as off key as the judges said.

crystal bowersox -- the most professional and technically near perfect. best one out there.

haely vaughn -- cute but that's bout it.

lacey brown -- i like her, seems sweet and sensitive, but she's BAD!

katie stevens -- she gives me the creeps, something wrong about a 17 year old that acts like a 34 yr old. dont like her face at all, her arms are kinda fat, don't like her hair, hate her confidence and composure -- a 17 year old should act a more school girlish if she wants to win people over


didi benyami -- i thought she was the stone cold nuts after singing "hey jude", but now i'm not so crazy about her, voice is kinda flat.


michelle delamor -- don't really like her, her face bugs me. her singing is good but generic for a black woman.


lily scott --- she's very good but not as good as crytal "nasty teeth" bowersox. she rubs me the wrong way, i think she would make a bad girlfriend/wife -- kinda like a cold self-absorbed bitch


kaetlynn epperly -- she's a little above average, would like to see her step it up. EDIT: i have yet to see why everyone loves this woman. she's average at best.


paige miles -- BEST PERFORMANCE I HAVE SEEN OUT OF HER. the song was a little flat but i now see why she is there.


siobhan magnus -- SHE'S INCREDIBLE!!!!!!! she has a few minor problems that hopefully can be worked out but this woman can belt out the notes!!!!

LOVE HER!!!,,,,, also think she's a knockout,,,,,,, needs to get her teeth straightened and get the tattoo removed and get rid of the stupid nose ring.

Siobhan's song choice was a bit odd, but I thought she did a great job. I really hope she goes far, because this seems like the best thing she's got going for her. She seemed really.... really....slow in her little clip. She almost sounded like she had a lisp/speech impediment or something. She seems stupid, but is a really talented singer.

My favorite of the night was probably Epperly. Maybe she came off as corny or cheesy, but I think she has a great attitude, and I liked the way she did the song. I think she's got a nice look to her - really sophisticated for 19!

Poor Didi. I feel bad for her, but thought she picked a dumb song. I also like it better when people get harsh criticism and respond by being a little sassy or fun or ...any sort of response. I don't know. I wasn't a huge fan of the crying and being speechless.

I don't really have much to add other than to out myself as liking both Nickelback and Creed which perhaps destroys any credibility I may have had.

I don't know how the thing will shake out but I like:

Bowersox, Scott, and Siobahn with Didi, Paige, and Katelyn in my second tier.

The men: Casey James, Lee, Mike, and Garcia...I think. I like Alex Lambert's voice, but I just don't know if he will get there performance wise. Not that any of the men are really there performance wise when compared to the ladies.

Oh yeah, I thought the judges were way to harsh to Didi. Bad song choice but her delivery didn't seem nearly as bad to me as it did to them. I think most of the contestants that pick an old song are just asking for the canned judges responses of kareoke, lounge, and show tunes. They really have to kill the song to not get a bad response. Also, they may have theme nights down the road that will force their decisions, why aren't they picking more current music that reflects the kind of stuff they would like to sing? I don't get it.

Siobahn is a strange fruit. It's part of her charm.
