i can see how some might like dilana but to me she sounded like a 63 year old woman who smoked a carton of ciggies every day of her waking life and then had someone rotostrip her throat.

but she could perform and hold her own, even with her weird voice.

plenty of people have made a lot of money with a weird voice that's not great, but it's their own.

Allison Iraheta and Lambert are also way up there in terms of pure vocals. Tamyra seemed good season one but it seems like there's a girl of her quality every season now so idk.

The only one that I can think of is Katherine McPhee. Tamyra was an amazing singer, it really can't be overstated. Fantasia was v good with what she did, but I'm not crazy about the raspy aspect of her voice.

I didn't see last season so I can't really comment on Lambert or anyone from that season.

Meh, I thought Kelly was by far the best that season. I might be underrating Tamyra though since I don't remember her that well. It's also harder to judge early season contestants since they were singing with like a crappy karaoke boombox in the background instead of the live band of the later seasons.

that 16 year old kid, aaron kelly?? is pretty bad. almost reminds me of that awful sappy singing clown from 2 years ago, david archuleta. absolutely despised that fool.

here's hoping jessica cunningham makes one of the final 10 spots for the girls.

He forgot the lyrics, but that's the only song we heard of his in Hollywood. He's got a really good voice though. His audition was very good.

nothing good about it.

i never really watched any of the prior seasons except for catching a few episodes here and there but i think they purposely put bad people through just to fill a niche or to ensure that the few really good ones get through.

i hated allison iraheta from last year also.
