Watching the 1st episode right now on TiVo. Watched every episode last year and most the year before. Last season I watched it with my girlfriend, this year I'll be watching it w/ 2+2.

i've only been watching idol for a few seasons and i didn't think it was possible but this was noticeable the worst hour of idol auditions i've seen. the editing/pace was off. the talent was forgettable. the judges lacked their normalcy. even the human interest pieces were lacking. all around just weird.

we do, yes. but apparently the movement the past few seasons involving showing more of the people that make it thru to hollywood is cuz there were complaints that not enough of the contestants were featured and it was unfair for those that did get the early tv time cuz they had a longer/bigger following with voters that carried over into the weekly eliminations and and blah blah blah...

sucks we're stuck with less good tv.

soooo....they really needed to arrest and cuff the guy?

i really hope the cops/producers/etc ***** for that. he didn't do anything more than i've seen in the past, and the black security guy had him in a headlock literally as the dude was leaving. i'm pretty sure i would've at the very least pushed both of them off.

of course, i would've gotten tackled by the 10 other security guys, but he got did wrong.
