I assume the ant man name drop being referred to was Pym particles being one of the possible explanations that Fitz explored for the disappearance of Simmons.

There were a bunch of references. Multiple to AoU, at least 1 towards 1st Avengers, Thor Dark World, Ant Man. Then there is the running phase 2 reference in Colson's arm...

Good episode I thought. Can already see how it's shaping up to tie into Civil War.

I think he was commenting on the MCU continuity given that he plays the same character in those movies, not just making a note that the actors happened to be the same

The show is building up to civil war pretty well. Its been subtly hinted at every episode so far.

I know why they can't, but I'd like to see some refs to daredevil and more specifically Jessica Jones given that debuts in a month. A super strong powered person in new york would be on Shields radar and kingpin and his network being taken down by daredevil would be huge news across the world. A simple ref with them debating if daredevil is an inhuman or not would make sense given the timing.

A lot of the time the general theory of those subs are way off (at least with Flash, Gotham, Arrow, Agents etc.) but this one they've been calling for weeks.
