Not everyone is intimately familiar with the comics, and for the people who aren't, the stuff that was obvious to you is anything but obvious. I have not read any comics since the early 90's and I had never even heard of Daisy until reading those articles this morning, which is probably true of 80%+ of AoS viewers.

Anyway, I'm done with this, so feel free to get the last word in.

I understand, and fwiw I'm not as familiar with comics as you think I am. Just saying that there was really no alternative to who they turned out to be etc, so having the producers 'confirm' everything is kind of moot. But w/e

i pissed my pants when gobbo kept talking about the newly pre-released chapters of ASOIF and i dont think what stuckinarutt said is a spoiler as it can be gathered from wiki and doesnt ruin the story at all

Is there a good reason to think Raina isn't ...

I don't see why not, although they might just go with some sort of cross between that and Tigra, or something new altogether. It's the MCU afterall, and they can do whatever they want. Introducing Inhumans now basically gives them the rights to spam mutants any time they want to introduce new powers without pissing off Fox

Doesn't seem out of line. Requires a little adjustment to the actual origin, but they've already done that so why not?

Raina is an inhuman like Daisy, otherwise the magic gas **** would have killed her, no? Also the obelisk seemingly kills any non-inhuman.

Also I don't think it's a coincidence that the inhuman Mr Hyde found her and raised her basically as a surrogate daughter as he hunted for Daisy. He probably sought her out in Thailand and it wasnt an accidental encounter.

I just saw the episode and based on visuals, I'd say Raina is feline.

Raina could be a female version of Talon who is a feline Inhuman from the comics or could be Tigra who does have a Hydra connection in the comics.

It will certainly be interesting to see where they go in terms of 'which comic book characters do we introduce' now that the introduction of Inhumans is basically an excuse to spit out super powered beings in the same way Fox can with mutants.

It's almost certain that AoS won't introduce key members of the Inhumans like the Royal Family as they'll probably save that for the movie, so the question is does the show introduce less-known but well established heroes/villains from the comics and call them Inhumans (i.e Quake) or do they introduce already existing lesser-known Inhumans from the comics? Maybe both?

I don't really see Marvel using inhumans to just throw powered beings all over the planet, especially since it's so complicated to actully get them powered up. That's such an inelegant solution. Ive never even understood why it would even be necessary. As long as they do not actually use the term "mutant", why can't there be a character who was just born with powers?

the only thing I said that might require confirmation was ofc the Tigra theory, and perhaps the Tripp being dead remark. And even if the producers confirmed Tripp is dead, that means nothing. The only character to die in the Marvel Universe that stays dead is Uncle Ben
If you're curious. From Marvel Unlimited

pretty solid episode

Stuck's theory of the Day:

Spoiler:
Mac/Bobby are working for/with Hawkeye. To what end, I don't know, but I hope it will explain his absence from MCU movies since Avengers, allow him to cameo on AoS and start a potential Hawkeye/Mockingbird relationship

It dawned on me tonight that there should be 2-3 episodes of AoS after Ultron premieres. I imagine they'll tie it in or at least reference it like they did Thor 2 and CA 2.
