Yeah, virtually nothing happened. It's tough to cover 7 different inmates in an hour show when, what feels like, the majority of it is just recapping what has already been established many times over.

I've only watched a total of about 30 minutes of this show. In the little bit I've seen the inmates were constantly asking why a guy was in jail. Maybe maximum security is different but the 4 months I was in I was asked why I was locked up a total of zero times. But I guess since 90% of the deck were locked up for murder people just didn't talk about it.

1. jail is very different than prison. people, conversation, etc.

2. I've watched every episode in their entirety and I too have only watched about a total of 30 minutes of unique footage.

+1
Its a pity cos the sheriff just might have found the real culprits of the contraband smuggling ect if it were not so fake but also if it was real then maybe the insiders would be to much at risk, even the marine as he would be caught up in the drug's as any Pod boss would see him as an asset.

Also does the sheriff really want to get the drug's out of the jail or is it easier to keep the peace if some get's through?

I don't know if it is totally fake but those prisoners defo have there doubt's.

It doesn't seem like Tami thinking she can impose quiet hours or force people to behave the way she wants is going to work out well for her.

Only a matter of time before Tami's aggro cop attitude will get her in trouble.

Robert is like a sitcom character of a guy who gets his ass beat in jail. If he wasn't a school teacher I wouldn't believe he was real.

It's too bad ex-marine guy aspires to work for the nut low law enforcement agency in the country.

I'm quite disappointed that they're allowing Tami & Barbara to stay in the same jail. It's completely against the idea of the show. Now Barbara is just safe in the knowledge there's someone in there for her.

The only good twist that could still potentially happen to her is that Tami gets her ass kicked by all the other inmates, and Barbara has to choose whether she wants to keep associating with Tami or get in the group. But that sounds like TV show Prison Break-y type of story, so I doubt it.

Hope Robert goes ****ing crazy in his cell.

Meh, I spent time in jail and the first thing I was asked when I got there was what happened and why I was there.. Then follow up questions came. They do grill you pretty hard from my experience.

I do not think it is just because they want to make sure you are not a cop, I think most of it comes from boredom. That is pretty much all jail is. Being bored.

Getting asked what you did to get locked up is equivalent to getting asked your major on a college campus.

I plead to a class 3 misdemeanor of battery. The PD said we would easily beat it but would take 6 months to go to triel.

I told them I'd only plea to a misdemeanor that had nothing to do with sex. My PD said what I plead to was something so minor it could have been as simple as me spitting at someone.

Is it normal for them just be free at night time? Seems like everyone's more at risk. From people I've talked to they locked in cell at night .. Wake up at 7am n free to roam your pod

Depends on the jail. Jails this size probably don't close the common area.

Well with these pods there is apparently 1 bathroom in the back of 1 of the cells, so how would everyone get to it?

Also there are many sleeping in the common area due to overcrowding, so they could roam while others are locked down?

It is county jail, I am guessing this is a pretty common set up.

Yeah that seems ridic to me. Almost like it's designed for maximum possible conflict.

My understanding was 1 bathroom at the back of each cell, but could be wrong. Seemed like Robert went from one cell to another to try and go to the bathroom.

and yet you havent seen any such indication of conflict on the show. you think they are intentionally editing those parts out?

or maybe you just don't understand the floorplan very well?

Wait what? You didn't see the part where Robert politely asked to use the bathroom and was denied, then the fat dude tried to stick up for him and got his ass beat for it?

that's not a very good representation of what happened or why.

Jails are over crowded. In theory, that jail is supposed to have 4 people assigned to each cell with a bathroom they all four share. Unfortunately, that isn't the case due to the overpopulation in the prison.

I am not arguing, I am just pointing out that the bathrooms are the way they are because of overpopulation, not design.
