Also, I agree that it was a really good episode. I was so rooting for Jack to pull the trigger at the end.

As much 24 as I have watched, its cool that these kinds of scenes still shock me.

I don't know if I've ever hated a 24 character as much as Dana. If she didn't have that crappy ex-boyfriend storyline, she would have been a good villain. But I couldn't watch her do her "evil" face in the bank without remembering here whimpering while her ex-boyfriend is yelling at her. So I'm just so glad her character is gone.

I guess I'm jaded then. To me, the most shocking thing this season was Jack busting in on the terrorists to save President Hassan only to find it was tape delayed and he didn't save him.

I would have been shocked if he DIDN'T kill her.

Two things that aren't important at all really.

1. Dana put a passport and stack of cash in her rear waist band, it was gone when they showed a rear shot as she is aiming around a pillar.

2. Just two minutes ago i had the "Times Square Suspect in Custody" press conference on my TV and I truly believe I heard one of the officials say "Jack Bauer". Problem is I had one earphone on so I didn't make it out.

Right. Dana turned out to be a bad-ass villain after she was a believable wimp.

Doubtful. Jack is more of tragic character.

Logan's fatal error was replacing Chloe at CTU. Now she's disgruntled and will go back to her usual insubordination and help Jack wreak havoc on the world. He is twice as deadly when he has her tech support behind him.

Lol I knew I knew they mentioned Jack in the press conference.

Quote:
N.Y. Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, who attended the the press conference, noted with pride how quick the arrest was made.

“Fifty-three hours and 20 minutes elapsed from the time Faisal Shahzad crossed Broadway in his pathfinder to the time he was apprehended at Kennedy Airport,” he said. “Jack Bauer may have caught him in “24.” But in the real world, 53’s not bad.”

Yep, it's not even close between Renee and Dana

a much closer question is Audrey Vs Dana. I may be in the minority, but I'd go with Audrey.

Under the bridge when Cole pushes down Jack and then Jack pulls the gun... that was for real even though he tells Cole it was to bluff Dana. Jack has the look in his eye while his gun is drawn. Then after Cole gets back in the truck, Jack has this "OMG what am I doing?" look come over him.

hehe funny.

as an 8 year fan of the show i was surprised to see that they shot dana point blank! i was so happy but definitely didn't see it coming. come to think of it, jack beat her arse a few times - getting out of the car and slamming her head against a pillar= totally badass.

i kept wondering why Ethan and others were so upset about torturing a terrorist/spy/traitor? i mean torturing a normal person that might be innocent is one thing, but she was a confirmed spy. they should've been doing all kinds of wicked stuff to her imo.

that being said, i was happy to see Ethan deliver that line in resigning - "you have Charles Logan now" was perfect!

speaking of Logan, how bad is the plot line of his guy, "Jason" taking over the "search for Bauer." ? ?!?!?!?!? first of all, they all should know that if Bauer doesn't want to be found he won't be, also, what did Jason do? its not like CTU wouldn't have been able to handle Dana's 911 call without Jason being there. stupid.

how the President, or anyone, for that matter, can ever go against Bauer is beyond me.
