Nina was such a great character. I never get shocked when I watched TV but when Jack kissed Nina (in season 3 I think) I was completely stunned. That has to be right up there with when the gimp scene in Pulp Fiction. I was completely blown away.

Gonna have to disagree about that scene. It thought it was really silly, contrived, over-sensational writing.

Lol, coincidence only. I also forgot to mention Kim, how could I forget how terrible Kim is/was?

That said, there were plenty of guys I disliked too, just not quite so intensely (or memorably) as with the women I listed.

I quite liked President Taylor's daughter, sexy as hell iirc correctly.

Finally caught up, some random thoughts:

- Excellent foresight of the Russians to put one of their best soldiers undercover as an EMT.

- I was almost convinced Renee would survive, yet the terrorists somehow had a mole in the hospital that would kill her

- Jack is doing very well after being stabbed, electrocuted and shot today.

- The former president must live about 2 blocks from the UN, he showed up immediately. And wouldn't a former president have been evacuated in this mess?

- If there's anything less than 30 kills by Jack, I'm going to be surprised. This will be a murderous rampage.

- I'm almost okay with the horrible Dana character all season if it leads to a Jack torture scene.

I finally figured out what's so good about this season. CTU has supported Jack!! Hastings liked Jack a lot, and Chloe is obviously gonna do whatever Jack says. Even the President likes Jack. That's why he's been effective and why the season has been so good

Sexy as hell might of been an overstatement (although I did state "iirc"), but she was definitely hot. Let's just say I wouldn't of hated throwing her dominant, gets what she wants character around a bedroom or two.

QFT. She's also in Jericho as a mid-range character. I thought I saw a preview for another show she's in too.

Chloe sucks because

A) She lacks one likable quality

B) She consistently disregards direct orders and is constantly bordering on complete insubordination but has yet to be punished in 5 seasons (all the while maintaining a patronizing attitude, even to her superiors). Noway she has that job irl, she is disruptive and completely unmanageable in a team environment.

This season she ignored orders, pulled a gun on the NSA guy and barricaded herself in the server room and Hastings response to all this was to say words to the effect of "Hang on a minute, let's see how this plays out". Give me a break..

C) She walks like she has berries in her buttcrack that she is desperately trying not to squish. Learn how to not walk like a leper, like srsly.

And one specific annoyance that jumps to mind..

D) When she slept with that male-model looking CTU analyst a season or so back who turned out to be a mole for Logan (iirc)...there is no way he sleeps with her. She's a goblin. Get real.
