I do agree with him to a point, this storyline could end up being good. at this point it blows hard mainly since at first she's all "OH NOEZ! KEVIN IS GONNA GET ME FIRED!" to choking dudes out and doing the psycho stone cold face when talking.

Spoilers from trailer:
Spoiler:
Did anyone else get Deja Vu when it showed Dana driving out of CTU in a car and her bf shooting at her?

Then he says, "We are really excited about where her story is headed, and we think the audience will love it." In fact, he says that even if he doesn't believe it.

It's hard to come up with a scenario where a sober non-moron in his position who knows he is being quoted for attribution complains about the burdens of story telling within a genre.

Let's be honest, none of them actually know where her story is headed

i loved it when rob weiss tried to divert jack away from the kanin phone call and jack didn't buy it, so he just flipped out on jack:

"We are dealing with an imminent terrorist attack on our soil, just do your job and we'll do ours!"

lol, he doesn't even work for them anymore

LOL at the unit commander knowing the reasons behind the attempt to take out Jack. I can imagine the briefing "So, we're going behind the president's back here..."

Pretty good episode overall, but I still cannot get over the Dana storyline. For example, the countless scenes where she's so conflicted about losing Cole over Kevin, yet she works with terrorists and knows her cover will be blown by the end of the day.

The placement of the car the Hassan family was supposed to leave in made no sense.
Let’s make the people pursued by professional assassins walk through an endless basement before they get to the vehicle.
Would it not make a bit more sense to park the car closer to where they keep them? And why leave the garage open?
I know I know, things rarely make sense, but this one annoyed me.

Speaking of things that do not make sense, there is actually no such thing as a dirty bomb.
The only dangerous thing would be the explosives.

Yep.

"Ok you and your family are in imminent danger President Hassan. Please come with me so that we can walk two hundred yards through a basement that looks like it was ripped straight out of Rainbow Six Vegas where I've been assured there are no bad guys."

Also, once they killed the last terrorist, why not go back to the car? Seems like they are going to be headed back to where they came from?

I get what you're saying but you can't say there's no such thing. Just because everyone overstates the dangers of the radiation (thanks John Ashcroft) doesn't mean radiation wouldn't be spread if a dirty bomb was exploded.

This is why you fail. Never watch 24 without drink in hand. I never do.

Duder. I was commenting on the exec who was either quoted out of context or is a moron, but is likely both. The show entertains me.

Jack's first meeting w/President Palmer is one of the better scenes in 24 history.

Season 1 was amazing. The first 13 episodes for all the right reasons, as this was the best story in 24 history.

Then it becomes amazing for all the wrong reasons. (Spoiler tags for Chim)

Spoiler:
They lose focus during the season leading to the the stupidest plot line in 24 history (Teri's amnesia--yes, more stupid than Kim and the cougar or the fact that Jack and his 5'6" brother have a father that is 6'7").

Then they do the first instance of a mole completely out of nowhere.

Still works for the fantastic finale.
