24 used to be my nr 1 show but the writers have become too lazy to actually figure out something new.

while I hate to see 24 to end I think it's time

Ratings are down (25%), costs are up ($5 Mil an episode), and they're out of ideas. (So says the boss of 24 and Keifer)

(I don't mean $5 mil more, just $5 mil currently)

Final episode ever should be 10 minutes wrapping up the storyline, followed by 30 minutes of Jack eating dinner at Wendy's with another 20 minutes of him in the can dropping a deuce.

24 to truly live in our memories until our eventual death, Jack has to die imo.

the previous generation had GI Joe, our generation has Jack Bauer.

With this whole Dana Walsh being the mole in CTU thing....Did the writers write the first half of the season and then give it to someone else to write their own loosely based on the first half second half? There are so many holes re the worst twist in the history of 24. I am glad this is going off the air and at least preserving some of its respectability before it would write everything it had left away.

^ it's washed its respectability away ever since season 6 episode 5 imo

I loved the shootout.. Definitely made up for the whole Dana totally changing character thing... 2 hours next week looks like it will be pretty awesome

^ And so, I stand by my prediction: Jack Bauer will survive this season.

But more than the fact that he needs to be alive for a movie (unless they decide to do a prequel), I think the writers don't want to kill him because A - that would be the most predictable thing to do, and you know how much they hate doing predictable stuff, and B - Jack Bauer is one of the most marketable characters alive, Fox would never, ever allow him to die while they can still milk him for more money in their pockets.
