That suicide vest came from The Sharper Image. LED lights, digital timer, vibrating massage function, and built in mp3 player.

I have tried to watch each week for this season, but have now chosen to wait till the season wraps and view all together. Its more of a dragger this year, to me anyways.

maybe 2/3 but Nina was def #1 by far, and not only because she was the first real "rat" imo.

Looks like this will be the last season, as many had speculated:

RIP Jack Bauer?

"24's" clock may be ticking down for the last time.

There's been speculation that this eighth season could be the FOX drama's final season, and Variety has decided to sound the show's death knell.

The trade claims that the ax will probably fall within a day or two, especially since the show's cost has been rising and the ratings have been falling.

It's all coming together for Terminator: Jack Bauer Chronicles as I predicted upthread

Nina, Logan and Marie Warner were the only 3 villains that you really didn't see coming. After Logan it was just like "lol let me guess his brother, father, and Tony are all villains." And so it came to pass. The only surprise villain they have left is Kim imo.

If Chloe was a villain I might die of laughter for how bad the writers have become

can we add a poll to the thread? i'm thinking something like this:

-What will Jack Bauer's status be at the end of S8?

1) alive
2) deceased
3) unknown

interested to see how the votes would go compared to how it actually ends.

If they do end the show, i believe they'd kill him off, just seems like the 24 thing to do.

If they do this however, they take away the angle of doing a major motion picture if they still choose to pursue that route.

It is funny that what I thought was the most ridiculous part of last weeks episode wasn't mentioned yet. How could two terrorists have gotten 'in position' so close to the hospital? Also, they just tapped into CTU's video stream like it was nothing. CTU didn't think of encrypting their data? lol

Pretty standard for 24. As long as you assume there was a building across the street with a line of site to where Marcos was hiding it works. The terrorists knew where he was he told them by cell phone. Also, they tapped into the hospital stream I'm pretty sure, which CTU had also tapped into. In 24 world no one except CTU and the terrorists encrypt data, and even they do it badly enough to be hacked regularly.

To me the most ridiculous part is the introduction of these aerial drones this season. If they had drones in position over the hospital, which they would have had plenty of time to do when they were setting up the trap with Farhan (you'd think it would be standard procedure), they would have been able to spot a group of people setting up shop in a building across from the hospital. Why even introduce the drones when they have been totally useless/meaningless?
