I think the journalist chick "thinks" she wants to know what Jack is about to do.

Let's face it.

Any human doesn't want to know what Jack is about to do. And that's what makes Jack so freakin badass-biggerthanhuman-biggerthantv.

I wanted him to pull off his jacket and shirt and be like "I've taken years of the Chinese's torture. I can outlast you mf'er."

100% this. This is discussed in the LOST threads all the time, and its a rule to not post anything from the previews. Here we start discussing it 3 episodes before the end, funny.

Can't believe 24 is coming to an end, I grew up with it, its been my favorite show since season 1, yes its been the opposite of realistic quite often but I've always enjoyed it and it's really never failed to entertain me.

Yeah man I am with you. I still remember how awsome and unique this show was when it was firts on TV.

And now we are down to the final three hours.

But will the show have a definite ending or leave us with a cliff hanger like so many previous seasons have?

One of the mods came in and established that previews are NOT spoilers.

Ya, aired previews for shows are fair game... but it's also fair for those of us that avoid them to be angry at people for bringing them up.

Just caught up and wow...I hope Jack can find some time in his schedule to torture the new head of CTU.

You'd think maybe Logan would use a different cell phone to call a Russian agent.

I thought that Logan specifically gave the Russian guy that untraceable, closed channel cellphone to contact him on when they had the meeting about Bauer in his office. He kept it's counterpart.

Surprised it's voicemail msg was "You have reached the office of Charles Logan..." however.

whether previews are fair game or not isnt really the issue (personally i think they shouldn't be, but that's probably because i dont like to watch them). people who post in this thread know that a lot of people don't watch them and dont want to hear about them. this, in effect, makes them spoilers. so if they want to post info about them, they could at least use spoiler tags. i think it's just common courtesy.

either way, though, for a mod to do it (and then claim he wasnt the first one when he very clearly was) is pretty annoying.

its time for jack to "release" president! imo

Logan, you gonna feel the pain now. If you don't tell me what I want to know, I will hurt you. WHO ARE THE OTHERS INVOLVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

can't wait for next week

it is going to be a lot harsher this time
but you are right, they did not use the word "capture"

Not 100% sure but I believe Logan's assistant took the other phone with him to CTU.

As for not posting about previews/spoilers because "IN THE LOST THREAD WE TAKE THINGS SERIOUSLY" well Lost from what my friends talk about is this actual complex mystery with a decent plot.

24 is either "Jack tortures one person all show for information" or "Jack kills 25 Rogue Navy Seals" everything about 24 is out in the open for the most part, that is besides the token mole reveal that shocks everyone and that is never in the previews. Even the Russians being the ultimate bad guys was obvious when their representative suddenly became a main character, there was no mystery about it.

tl;dr

lol at this logic

I don't really care either way, but the rules were established. If you don't like the rules, you shouldn't post here or shift your expectations. Arguing that the opposite should happen is pretty lol

I've always thought previews were off-limits, but I also agree that it's not really a big deal for this show. Jack kicks ass/goes rogue is pretty much every week's preview.

Why is Jack so surprised about Logan being involved? He already knows that the PRESIDENT is trying to cover up the Russian involvement in the plot. So an ex-president is also involved; who cares? The hit on Renee came before Logan got involved so he's barking up the wrong tree.
