is anyone else annoyed that they killed of Rene? isnt the storyline of:
1) Jack falls in love
2) Jack's girl gets killed because of his work
3) Jack fuels his work on rage over the event
a bit overdone in 24? Also, I think Rene was the best character on this show since David Palmer, losing her takes a lot out of the show imo.

How awesome would it be if Logan was behind EVERYTHING going on this season and had somehow installed himself as some super world power player pulling the strings on multiple governments? (Although I suppose that pretty much has happened already)

And then Jack finishes the season off by killing him, obv, just after saying something like, "This is for David Palmer."

Renee's death was anti-climactic, as you pretty much knew she would die when the sniper set up shop across the street. Not nearly as surprising as the Hassan death.

wtf, comparing Renee to David Palmer is blasphemy. Palmer is in the top echelon of 24 characters alongside Chloe, Tony, Nina, & Michelle. Renee was in the show for 1.5 seasons.

Aaron Pierce is probably in the next tier down, alongside people like Chappelle and Curtis and Edgar

Renee is at best 3rd tier with the George Masons and Habib Marwans of the world.

I love how whenever a season of 24 gets criticised, they go on monkey-tilt and spaz-kill-off all the main characters.

It's a little frustrating for viewers, but it sure is entertaining!

And talking of random 24 characters, was I the only one who liked Mike Doyle, the sexist Jack-a-like in Season 6? He was pretty bad-ass for a while in that season.

I was super high when I saw the episode and his neck kept tripping me out. I wasn't sure if it was really that flabby or it was the lighting or I was just seeing things. Damn that was some crazy neck fat

No, this year's last day of filming was Friday. And earlier last month they had to halt filming for a few days since Sutherland had some medical ailment.

i get it what we are seeing is a recipe for keeping male viewership. Kill of the sexy female and leave us with a punjab and a computer nerd. sigh/ jack's kill rate needs multiplied by 5 in lieu of these recent unfoldings.
