-Chloe gets badass, it's about time someone besides Jack took care of all the badassery leg work around here

-Aww, poor Owen, anyone but him! "Who?" The idiot kid who tried to saved that shot CTU guy. "What?" The p***y kid. "Oh...who cares?"

-Holy crap, for once, Dana Walsh is interesting. It doesn't make a lick of sense, but screw it, at least it got my attention. But there's a problem now: Stephen Root never got back his red stapler! Oh wait, wrong show.
its called position... at first, the terrorists had jack and co pinned down and they had elevated positions. when they began to flank jackco is when we saw the cool steel would never work irl shield thingy... and for the 2nd time this season someone directly contradicts a jack bauer order! despite popular belief... this did not cause the world to end but it did get those 2 poor stupid SOBs killed.

by the time jack and cole were on the run, the hostiles had left their elevated positions (from what i could tell) and Renee was able to approach them from the back. if she really is the "female jack bauer" then 3 kills in <6 shots wouldn't be too tough. cole took out at least 2 or 3 w/ his automatic weapon at the same time. gg hostiles.

Renee showing up at that last second was like hitting quads kings on the river against someone who flopped a boat. Jack seems to get lucky a lot, don't ya think?

There's no way you are a fish.

The awesome kill at the end doesnt make up for the fact that its an awfully constructed twist that doesnt make an ounce of ****ing sense and it happens every season.

also, every combat scene pisses me off when people dont listen to orders and trained CTU officers cant kill anyone with assault rifles in a 50 minute gunfight and then renee walker comes in and hipfires a pistol and kills everyone in 10 seconds. oh and lol at the swat team not having any kind of protective gear

dana walsh looked way cuter tonight. Probably has to do with less light in CTU.

agreed. her character is so effective even with the limited dialogue and screen time she gets

I hope Chloe shoots Dana right in the head standing next to her at her desk and then everyone flips out but then Chloe explains it perfectly yet awkwardly while Hastings looks on like a mentally ******ed hunchback.

its a disappointing twist bc of how awesome it could have been if they developed her character better- they spent the entire season B or C plotting her and like no one even cares about her at all so who cares if she's a mole now (this is ignoring all the glaring plotholes/stupidness of it to begin with)

when you found out nina was bad in s1 it was a huge wtf moment- same with marie warner- same with charles logan etc etc

Amazing how they hit Jack in the BPV but the other 2 CTU guys didnt get as lucky. Cant wait to hear how Dana is involved with terrorists.

yeah i can't believe i didn't predict this. kinda makes sense now considering we realize dana is no more than some ex-stripper hustler chick and she is obv scandalous. she's prob some radicalized skankbag and is banging goatee dude.

i already explained how renee was able to kill those guys. had the snipers stayed in their positions, she certainly wasn't taking them out w/ a handgun. but killing 3 dudes whos backs are to you isn't too far of a stretch. the swat guy had vests and helmets on, no? they just got shot tfu by automatic weapons! this kills most people (not jack obv) with or without protective gear.

i'm still wondering how anyone can have a mischievous call in CTU on a personal cell phone or not in this day and age... or how anyone can kill someone in a building that should have cameras in every room.

Totally saw Starbuck offing the parole officer. As soon as Hastings said he'd see him in holding 2 in 15 minutes, and there were only 14 minutes left in the episode, and you get that shot of Starbuck getting ideas, you knew he'd never make it to 5:01 am.

The mole thing is obviously lolcontrived, though.

Did Dana get a new cell phone too? If so, isn't it a bad idea to call Samir on it?

David Spade is hilarious, a whackass version of Barney but nonetheless funny.

Anyways, 11 episodes left of the "last season" should be interesting to see how this ends...

loved this episode, it was straight from the 24 handbook.

jack involved in ridiculous shootout where hes seemingly trapped
someone comes to save the day at the last minute
people who dont follow jacks orders end up dead
classic mole reveal phoning the terrorists from inside CTU
some other agency comes into CTU and start acting like dicks, get put in their place.

And ******* head of CTU suddenly becomes likable, which I called in the first episode when everyone was overreacting to him
