My favorite moment is when Sherry Palmer was killed.

You guys are really overlooking the awesomeness of season 3, especially the russian roulette scene. The tension was awesome.

Season 3 is so underrated due to the fact it had so many gaps in episode air dates. (8 in a row, month break, 2 in a row, week off, 5 in a row, month off,2 in a row, week off, then the final 7)That's one of the reason's season 4 on was uninterrupted.

Oh, and Keifer had surgery this week due to a ruptured cyst near his kidneys I believe, stopping production. There shouldn't be any change in air dates it seems

S3 was great for the second half. The first half, meh, only the Salazars and the Russian Roulette scene were good, the rest was forgettable.

I know yall hate season 6 but one of the best rampages was there at about episode 18 where he killed like 7 terrorist before hanging the main bad guy with a chain.

The hanging is definitely one of the best individual kills ever.

rewatching:

"Keep moving, I'm out of bullets."

Jack does so well when he's out of ammo. I loved when he rescued Heller/Audrey, he was about to throw his gun at somebody when the marines landed. I love this axe kill in ep 1. It's right up there with biting the dude and him snapping people's necks with his legs.

But if I were him, I'd have like 20 clips on me at all times.

Oh yeah - loved the season where Palmer was assassinated and he took on the assault team - knifing the guy in the smoke, then shooting the dudes in the car, and then shooting that leader when he admitted to having shot Palmer.

now this man is a 24 fan!

you are right - he seems to always be thinking ahead, so being out of ammo doesn't phase him. regarding the 20 clips - he usually has that bag strapped over his shoulder that carries his clips and other instruments of death i assume.

i forgot about that smoke scene - he realizes that the chopper wouldn't take off in time, right? so he creates a diversion/smoke screen and handles the killers one at a time... leveling the playing field. totally badarse.

kind of off-the-wall-----but does anyone remember the final bad guy from S2... Peter Kingsley?

the other day i'm watching an old Seinfeld episode...where Kramer and Newman want Jerrys old records and Elaine goes to an old people home---anyway, Kramer and Newman bring these records to a used record store, and i could swear the guy playing the store employee looked familiar. i pegged him as the bad guy from "Saw."

turns out, the actor is Tobin Bell and he has been in tons of stuff. he was in Seinfeld, The Sopranos (played guy @ military school for AJ), 24 (Peter Kingsley) and Saw!

Nice to see this is turning into a "which season is best" thread

But just for the hell of it:

5 > 1 > 2 > 7 > 3 >>> 8 (so far anyway) >>>>>>>>>> 6 > 4

Haha yeah sorry to be part of the train wreck!

As for this season, tonight's episode should be entertaining.

Especially when a guy puts a gun in Jack's face and Jack cooly says to him "You better put that gun away before you get yourself hurt".

Decent episode.

-Josef didn't last very long, now did he? Way to go, pal, you sure knew what you were doing.

-Hastings, grow a pair. And stop tilting your head down and walking like you got a hump on your back.

-Jack choking that attorney chick, right, like he really needs assault added onto murder charges. And what was the plan afterward, take Renee out of the building? Looks like our invincible hero had a rare idiot moment...

-Poor Owen, everyone thinks he's a pansy, I actually feel bad for him.

-Seeing that Leo DiCaprio-looking dude and his boyfriend FINALLY die made it worth watching.

Not to analyze 24 too much, but I think this was intentional. Emotions = bad, and Jack let his emotional reaction to the whole Renee situation get the better of him.
