I don't see why doesn't Dana Walsh just shoot the two guys in her apartment, and say there were trespassers... ldo, stupid show.

Why/How would they? Not many top level guys survive a Jack Attack, and why would they call other groups to give them a bio on one man?

Senate hearing lasted 8 minutes at best, and it's been 1.5 years since then, who remembers one guy on CNN? And Jack hasn't gone undercover this season.

lol @ getting hired @ CTU w/ such a "shady" past.
The side plot w/ the blond chick and her ex bf or w/e is very dumb so far.
That side plot seems like it is not gonna surprise me in any way, hopefully i am wrong.

Yawn, boring episode. The key to a good episode is Jack Bauer doing stuff, which this episode lacked severely. I wish they would've just killed Renee, she's annoying me.

Jack sitting in a car the whole episode was lame. Also man do I hate these lame CTU subplots. They never ruin the season but who the **** enjoys them?

Pretty much a transition episode, every season has a few like it. Hopefully it picks up next week.

Maybe, but CTU has a bad track record when hiring employees (isn't there a mole every season)?

OK, that Chloe .gif has me thinking of something else.

I remember when me and my friend were high as hell one night last summer, watching old seasons of 24. We watched through Season 1. It gets to the part where they infiltrate the camp, Jack gets in somehow, and him and Rick get separated. There's a scene where Jack and Rick are hiding behind a van (about a minute before it blows up) and in a firefight. Rick steps out from behind the van and shoots his machine gun, and has legitimately the most hilarious look I've ever seen. If anybody can somehow find that scene and make it into a postable .gif I will send them $10 on Stars or FTP. We kept rewinding that scene and probably watched/laughed at it for a solid 15 minutes straight.

Didn't expect much since this episode followed the 4-hour premiere event.

I say it's two more episodes where jack doesn't kill anyone, then in episode 8 he will probably go on a rampage. 5+ kills in episode 8.

I think it was her bf, but yeah that was bad.

5-6 were a low point in the series, now I consider 24 less intense drama and more Arnold 80's action (Commando especially) where one guy just goes crazy blowing dudes away in insane fashion
yes, it was bf. thank you for the correction :]

ftr i said highs and lows. this was pretty sweet.

wow, never thought a guy from UM would be so spot on. kudos. (please don't tell anyone i said that though)

President Logan was devious... I dropped my jaws when I found it was Jack's brother pulling the strings though.
i actually liked the whole mysterious guy w/ the earpiece and then the revelation that it was jacks bro.

did anyone else want to lay 1000:1 that Renee lived through that? no way they were bringing her back for 1 effing ep.

i wish 24 had more of that explosive "kill anyone anytime" thing going... esp if the show is near its end. go out w/ a gd bang imo.

also fyi to all terrorists:

how about a "no new people get to enter the plot within 24 hours of our strike" rule? it seemed stupid to me that jack was able to enter under cover in S2 on the day of a huge strike, and now the did the same thing this season.

im german and that scene where jack was talking was probably the most hilarious 24 scene ever for me. any person who speaks german semi-well (like the russian dude) would realize immediately that there's no way that Jack is German, I was barely able to understand him due to his very strong american accent.
