binged the show in 2 weeks, enjoyable. Season 2 was much better. This ep was pretty boring, but it was cool charles vane showed up. Murphy seems to have the most interesting storyline atm

Right when they pulled the blindfold off knew exactly who she was going to see. Still enjoyable episode though, Vane is the best knew character for sure. The whole city of light feels like Battlestar Galactica.

Again good ep, seems like Vane is going to play a pretty big role this season

Haven't read the thread yet. Just finished the first 2 episodes of season 1 and loved it! Have all 3 seasons queued up and will binge it all this month.

Ah, that makes sense, thanks.

Enjoyed the most recent episode. So glad that I stuck with this show after thinking the first couple of episodes of S1 were awful. It's the successor to BSG, complete with a lot of the same cast. I haven't watched Lost but it also seems like there are a lot of similarities to that show.

Love how ambitious, creative, and progressive it is. It's very well cast, too.

I'm probably in the minority but I'm more interested atm in where the City of Light stuff is going than I am the war brewing between Lexa's clans and Ice Nation.

Same, it also helps that Murphy is in on that storyline, he's my favorite character.

Go watch lost btw. I really like the 100 but lost is so much better. (+ "kane" from the 100 has an awesome role is it as Desmond)

The first few episodes in season 1 do a great job of setting the tone of the show that almost anyone can die

I'm all caught up for season 3 now. Highly enjoyable, found this series by chance after looking for something new to watch after Black Sails on IMDB. Lmao at Charles Vane showing up. Also I spoiled myself while looking at the cast bios to see what other shows they've been on. Saw that Finn only appeared in 22 episodes so I knew he was dying in finale. So pissed at that.

Looking forward to the episode Clarke puts a blade through Pike's heart as she is staring him in the eyes.

The episodes are still good (not great like earlier seasons) but what makes this show really great are characters like Kane and Murphy. We need more MURPHY.

On the bright side looks like Theloneus is coming back next episode so either we'll have a face turn as he pimp slaps Pike or we'll get Murphy coming back to save the day.

The last episode was the worst in a long time. I'm not happy at all with the direction the show is going. It seems like the writing has gotten sloppy. Almost none of these new developments
Spoiler:
(Bellamy joins Team Pike, Raven swallows the blue pill, Lexa decides to shrug off the massacre, etc.)
feel organic and all feel rushed. The show has done a pretty good job in general of making its major characters three-dimensional, but the character of Pike has revealed itself as a one-dimensional plot device.

Meh, just when I had been getting really excited about the ceiling of this show..

EDIT, don't click spoiler tag if you haven't watched BSG:
Spoiler:
This show becomes more and more BSG Lite. At least four of the same actors/actresses, Thelonius/"Alie" having a Baltar/6-type dynamic, and now Thelonius going all late-BSG Baltar with the preaching and inevitable growing clan of converts. I don't mind, I just think it's amusing.

I really hate the direction this show is taking. Bellamy goes off on the deep end and handcuffs Clarke? massacres 300 grounders? makes no sense at all and came out of nowhere.

Another episode, another time to say the only characters that are even remotely interesting are Murphy/Kane

From the start Bellamy was intending to kill everyone still on the Ark in order to avoid being collared for the assassination attempt on Jaha, massacre of 300 grounders is believable. He wasn't fully in to it either, after the fact. He has indeed "Always been like this".

Admittedly he does/should know enough of grounder politics to know these 300 troops had nothing to do with the recent massacre of 45 sky crew in Mount Weather.

I do wish they'd have spent at least an episode with him all loved up with his new GF though. Her death is what sent him off this time, but we viewers barely knew her so there is no impact. Going off the deep end after GF is killed by grounders is somewhat a trope in this show lol.

Holy crap, I totally forgot his GF got killed this season. They virtually spent no time on that.

Meh. I'll keep watching, but the show has been losing my interest over the last few episodes. Everything involving Pike has been so tilting.

Hope this City of Light plot turns out good. Pike needs to be floated.
