They cancelled it so next season is the last one. It was much better when they were on the ark in season 1-2 for sure but its a natural thing when shows go on for too long. Think its ready to end, there has been a noticeable drop in quality.

I still enjoyed the season but the story line has gotten way out there. I am glad they are going to get to end it any way they want. 2, 4 and 1 were the best seasons imo. I wouldn't be against everyone dying except Raven and the show ending with her spacewalking.


My favorite show on CW for sure. They had me when they killed off who we thought would be a main character in episode 3. Then season 2 with Finn'Clarke scene and Clarke killing everyone in mount weather. Most network shows wouldn't have gone there.

Waited to watch so I could marathon it. Excellent season, loved the main idea of it and the first 10-11 episodes but I don't think it really stuck the ending. The initial arrival on a new planet with strange events was outstanding. I thought this was the final season before I started watching, so pretty damn glad there will be one more! "Dark Commander" stuff is weak, I hope that is dealt with quickly. "Anomaly" stuff is just a bit odd and poorly explained, though I suppose that is the idea. That was Dioza's daughter?

Clarke playing Josephine and Josephine playing Clarke was fantastic. If you enjoyed that and haven't watched Orphan Black, well it is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend you to watch asap!

Yeah that was Dioza's daughter. The anomaly basically downloaded the flame/dark commander. I feel like we know about as much about the anomaly as the characters do.

but i have to say that after the nuclear war and crash landing in the middle of the forest with no civilization around, they have great hair salons! and make up! and gyms! and they take off their clothes a lot in the freezing cold.

lol it gets better. Season 2 last few episodes elite. Season 4 great. There are no good guys in the show which makes it good.

the pilot was more ridiculous than the rest of it though, at least so far. like that girl jumped in the river and some gigantic animal bit her and held her and swung her around like a rag doll! she'd be dead 100 times over, but she just had a cut on her leg! lol!!

and then when they were swinging on the vine, it was soooooooo clearly just some rope from like home depot with some leaves glued on, and they kept showing it right in the shot! like they weren't even trying to hide it. they didn't give a ****! lol!

and they're just giving blood transfusions willy nilly in the middle of the forest with no equipment and never bothering the check blood type! lol!

oh, and that kid got impaled in the chest by a gigantic spear and flew back like 30 feet from the impact, but he recovered just fine lol!! if i remember right, they found some red seaweed growing in the river and made him a tea to heal him lol!

and they do not give a **** about gravity, like on the space station... living in space, then transitioning to earth.. or when the station stops spinning but they still have gravity

and 100 kids in the forest with no supplies... no problem. they'll just hunt for food, even though they only go hunting like 3 times lol

im episode of 4 of season 3! lol! i have no life, so i can really get through a series if i like it.

it's like a completely different show from season 1, especially the first couple episodes. first couple episodes were so ridiculously lol fake af... now it's still ridiculous, but a shadow of what it used to be.

season 2 was a ton of fun though!

Of all the shows I watched in the 2010s, this one probably had the most erratic distribution of quality across all the seasons I watched (five). It's actually a miracle I kept watching past the first few s1 episodes, because they really are borderline comically bad. Think I've written about this in here before but I seriously recommend to people interested in this show to just skip the first 5 or 6 episodes and read summaries of what happened to catch up.

S2 alone made this show worth watching for me, with some very strong peak moments. Seasons 3, 4, and 5 weren't very good, but, whatever, they had some decent moments and I don't necessarily regret watching them. Doubt I'll ever bother with post-s5 eps, though.

A bit of both. I like the show better then most but it is a truly great show at points that takes risks but is hidden by the fact it is on CW. It gets away from the "CW teen" style story after a few episodes for the most part. Plenty of it is absurd at points but I don't think it hurts the show too much.

The show is great when it embraces the there are no good guys theme.

i just posted a week or so ago about how i gave up after a few episodes just like you did. then years later i came back to it, and i'm having a great time watching it!

if the genre interests you, and you get past the first 5ish episodes you will probably like it a lot. that's how it went for me at least.

it's never realistic lol! not even close, but still a ton of fun, and even kinda intelligent if you are willing to suspend reality. i mean if you are ok with a universe where science behaves differently lol, then there are interesting moral and political and strategic dilemmas. and fun characters.

im currently about a third of the way through season 3 and it's slowing down. but season 2 was great!

Season 3 is my least favorite. There are good moments and character losses but it felt like a BSG imitation half the episodes.

season 3 kinda sucked. but season 4 just got good af!

i just finished episode 10, and it's rated 9.3 on imdb! one of the highest rated episodes, and it was great!

You will love season 5 episode called the red queen then. Season 3 really was the worst minus a few decent parts.
