Got a PM asking pretty much the same thing from a micro stakes player who had received coaching and was wondering if he had wasted his money as he had the impression that KK wasn't actively playing. Afaik KK has not played online PLO as his main source of income though poker for over 7 years (prior to Black Friday). I would be very surprised if he has played 100K hands of online PLO in that same time period. I haven't purchased PLO Quick Pro (lol) so can't speak on the full product, but from the free YouTube videos it seems to be mostly regurgitated theory concepts from other pros and hand history examples where he is playing against players labeled CO BTN SB BB where you have no idea of the site it was played on or time period it occurred, if the hand ever even happened to begin with. From what I've seen 100% of the videos he has released on training sites (deucescracked) are either classroom style, member review, HH review, or video replays which could be 8 minutes of actual play from a 2 hour recorded session where he made egregious errors, but only shows the small portion where he played reasonably acceptable in. Always be weary of poker coaches whose screen names that they are currently playing on are not publicly known or is operating in a secretive manner, kazor who has an ad in the coaching sub-forum is another player who is shady and should be avoided.

Who would you recommend for a guy to beat micro limits?
Private coaching from someone accepting an hourly rate is generally not going to be the best option for micro stakes players.
Normally I wouldn't make a post like this but it seems that nearly all the players who are affected by scammy coaches are either players who are just starting out with the game or micro stakes players and easily duped as they aren't able to properly assess the value of certain coaching services.
