Yes please do.
Variance mainly depends on how the game plays and your style.

Maximum EV should be to play very deep and loose aggressive. Being deep and playing even spots aggressively is what causes high variance.

Depending on the game and the other players, a regular TAG or even Nit style can work very well, and usually should have lower variance since you get your money in with a more clear advantage. The down side should by that you miss some value by pushing tight edges.

Idealistically, if you have a bunch of loose passive showdown monkeys in a game, you can play with nearly no variance and just bet your good hands once all cards are out. In reality those games basically don't exist, or if they do, please hit me up!

Maybe I'm just salty because my winrate isn't this high, but $200/hour long term winrate in a 5/10 game seems crazy high to me. (Assuming straddle to 20 would be counted as a 10/20 game, not 5/10). Maybe in a game with 0 good players.

i said it was a 5k max buyin tho, get enough people not shortstacking and it almost plays like a 10/20, at which point $200 doesnt sound as unreasonable. thats why structure is important. dont think anyone is making 200/hr in a 5/10 game with a 1k buyin.
