Well-played AA? Well-played AA?

Hi all,

5/5/15 UTG straddle. V is action, experienced player but far too loose pre with a propensity to bluff. Hero has tight image, recently doubled through V with AcAQT5c on J83cc, potted and trapped on a c turn, V turned J8 (no club) into a bluff otr. Someone opens EP (rec) $50, V calls OTB, hero SB AcAsKhQh4c $225, both call. $1k eff.

Flop ($680): 356ssc. Checks through. Anyone betting here?

Turn: Jc. Checks around again. Anyone betting here with nfd and still gutter?

River: Ad. What are you doing? Hero checked, checked to V who potted. I figured pay the man his money if he slowplayed his wrap/straight and I have a 4 and top set. Wwyd?

Thanks,
DT

I'm never betting this flop with your hand. 5 card means way too many people likely to end up with a hand here. 4 blocker and nut spade helps a little, but no one is going to believe you have the straight here.

Turn after it's checked again with spade blocker and club draw, I'm betting. They aren't trying to get this pot and there's a good chance you can take it down. I like a 1/3 to 1/2 pot sized bet here.

After it's checked twice, I'm betting the river for sure. I'm never folding to a bet. Raising accomplishes little.

You are behind 47 and 42, and you have a 4, no one has tried to even take this twice with two flush draws out there. V is stealing or overvaluing 2 pair.

in 5 card its more likely some1 played their hand weird then they're bluffing for like 95% of people. idk if he value bets aj/sets here but most people wouldn't especially for that sizing its usually 42 when i call in these spots

They usually have it here when they pot against a card that frequently made your top set. I have caught some bluffs in this spot but 1 out of 3? Probably not. With your image and the V you describe though, I think it's pretty close.

I mean you kinda checked river to catch a bluff right? Especially from a vilain that might overbluff, so dont see any other option but to call.

Can't see V 'not' charging both flush draws on Turn if they have either straight (especially OTB), but it's possible. I think you call him down to maintain the willingness to mix it up with him .. and to bluff catch. GL

am i continuation betting the nut flush draw on that board after you 3 bet to 225? I probably half pot, because you're either getting the chips there to folds, or you're ahead of a worse flush draw. He could be thinking AJ is worth potting. You having a 4 is huge, i think. He's representing 4-7 or AJ or a bluff. You gotta call his pot, i think. There is a lot to like. The thing is.. you don't even have to bluff in PLO 5/10 and down. You can just have the nuts at some point every time you commit more than 10 BBs. Bluffing flush boards is a bit stupid. If you can fold once you 3bet pre or raised pre on half of flops, you'll crush these idiots.

Not sure what he’s repping here. Maybe 24xxx that checked twice? It’s certainly possible. With a 4 blocker and this weird line by V I am gonna call a loose bluffy player every time.
