you say its your standard so I guess you are not always doing it but _always_ betting pot on the flop or turn when its a FD out and no one is short is probably not a good idea.

as for the hand its close but that you should shove if you have an aggressive image in his eyes.

I agree with MauriceSch's phrasing.

I think I made a couple mistakes in my long analysis. One, I forgot to count the times we make a better boat when I was figuring out our equity against sets and second I think I discounted sets just a tiny bit too much compared to top two. Those counteract though so I still think it's a pretty neutral EV spot.

Anyway, the thread's been open for a while so if anyone wanted to know results, I shoved and ran into top set.

Just out of curiosity, did he have heart FD as well, or naked set?

Not that I have any problem with how you played...but I would not rule out lighter c/r's from this villian given the stats you supplied...unless you have a turn AF you didn't give us

Naked set. KK85 double-suited with spades and diamonds.

agree...his af makes it very unlikely he's doing this with a fd/wrap, especially on the turn. I think you are behind here enough to merit a fold

Ya, totally easy fold. He's probably got something like KK84 or something. more than likely double suited too.

Easy fold

This deep, if he's decent, flatting the flop with top or middle set is correct and I expect him to show up with sets a good % of times. I fold and I don't think it's close.

I find this true and I would find it true for iggy playing aswell. (And I saw results).

I need stellar reads too think about folding here..

And I would bet slightly less too induce in pos usually.
