So you'd shove?

Yes. Probably shouldn’t be playing 2/4

You’re asking what to do with the nuts when everyone is going all in. That’s very basic

I did shove. However, I was thinking about it more because with all the action:

1) I may be up against 1 or 2 under sets, which will remove outs for me to fill up

and/or

2) I am up against 1 or 2 strong combo draws that I am probably behind.

Instead of worrying about specific hands you need to give them ranges and see if you have enough equity to stack off

They're blocking each other and you have the nuts. Easy fold.

At least 12 safe turn river cards.

should put all in, top set is favoured vs any hand except maybe 4 or 5 card wrap + fd. we should have good equity five way. we don't really have to worry about draws in such a multiway pot because we are going to have full house 33% of the time anyway.

Yes your going to lose often. But your overlay makes it a no brainer. Also the action in the hand indicates your not up against solid opposition are are likely up against far weaker hands than you should be.

Lmao.

OP, don’t be ridiculous, you have the nuts.

I would’ve raised the flop bet when it first got me btw.

You're going to lose this hand most of the time...but getting better than 4-1, you have to call...well, actually shove.

I'd probably fold middle/bottom set here, though, depending on opposition.

On a side note is this a call pre? No suited Ace, flush would be non nut - seems to be a terrible hand multi way
Top Set spot Quote

fold pre..then you dont have to post about folding top set on a twotone non-straight flop.

lol no really though, i see what your thinking..could be up against 2pr+gutter+fd, 1pr+oesd+fd, 6card wrap+fd,, etc..but the thing is, if thats the case then everyone is blocking each other. if 4 people have hearts, there are only 4 hearts left in the deck, if 4 people have wraps..then theyre all drawing to 4 outs. ( theoretically, T986 in 4 opp hands means 4 outs left in deck( 4- 4s))

that said..its still a fold pre.. no nut suit, you wont flop top set as often as you think and you have a shitty dangler. AJJ8 with a suit should be the bottom of your cold call range and thats if its heads up. multiway you need to have a nut suit because every person that enters the pot makes it more likely you will be overflushed if you do hit.

ppl saying fold pre on the btn how do you sleep at night??

Nyquil helps to sleep.

Back when I played omaha high low, the 7, 8 and 9 were called "bandits."

In omaha high, the 6 can sometimes be called a bandit.

Preflop, AJ[J6] is a bandit 6. I'd rather have one pip lower with a 5 so that my AJ[J5] can make a wheel. And I'd rather have three of my suit in my hand for [AJ6]J than AJ[J6] to have a nut suit even though I'm wasting one of my suit. However, some of this is dependent on the rake. And the rake could shift things from a cold call to a raise.

And if you would rather call it a dangler than a bandit, then I am cool with that.
