dont know whats weird about the hand. every decision from the players we know the holecards of seems really standard.

i think that given the action on the flop / turn themfi would never ever make this bet on the river with K9. I think ansky assumes he has the nuts also or blockers so he doesnt see any value in raising. Sure if he would have bet K9 like this he would probably call the rest of his stack in when ansky raises but i think he never ever has K9 in that spot and other hands cant call given the action imo.

Also ansky cant really be bluffing here if he raises the river. So he probably thinks he can only get called by a chop because he thinks that themfi knows he cant be bluffing if he raises.

I guess ansky figured d2 had either bluff or a chop, but still mandatory raise w/ the nuts since if d2 does have k9 (esp KK9) he'll have trouble folding due to pot odds

I guess part of the reasoning for calling is that K9 probably doesn´t lead?

Yes, this is a very large part of the reasoning I assume. I guess he figured value of seeing d2's hand when he's bluffing>value of him calling the last 8k if he has K9. Just the fact that even if he never leads anything but a bluff or KA, he could misclick call or timeout fold, makes raising more +EV I think.

considering me or ansky have ak roughly 20-30% of the time anyways when he has kkj5 the lead is pretty horibble with anything bar blockers, so ansky should just shove because its obvious if he folds he has blockers, and who to say if he has AA, he might level himself to think so sick if ansky shoves kk.

I think what to do with my hand might be more interesting
