Staying Aggressive with King-high flush out of position Staying Aggressive with King-high flush out of position

Villain in question is extremely aggressive, plays 75% of hands, and loves to gamble. I've played several times with him. One big pot we played, he potted turn and river out of position with quads, and I called him down with a full house. He will frequently draw to non-nut hands, and can be very aggressive when he hits.

Villain has about $2,000, hero covers.

5/5 live PLO.
Hero in cutoff w/ K985. Table is currently limp-happy. Villain is on button.
$10 straddle, button raises to $25, and we are 6 ways to a flop.

Flop ($150): T84 Checks to button, who bets $100. I call, two other callers.
Turn ($450): T847 I bet $250, only button calls.
River ($950): T8476. I bet $550.

My questions are: What do you think of this river sizing? If V shoves for ~$1100 more, can we call?

I think I prefer checking turn. Fold to river shove unless he seems like the type to call turn facing a bet and 2 others behind him with the nut blocker. I doubt he's value raising a lower flush so it's probably nuts or the nb

you are super short stack and you have to 2nd nuts, can't fold. Your sizing is bad since you should bet more on both streets to get more value.

2k at 5/5/10 isn't shortstacked.

Strongly disagree with calling river being compulsory unless button is very tricky and bluffy in addition to loose and aggressive. Sizings seem fine to me.

Against someone who is extremely aggressive and loves to gamble, I think I check/call river. A bet let's him get away from lower flushes, and if he were to raise, I'd probably lean toward folding unless I knew he'd do this with the naked As. A bet on the turn and check on the river looks as if you are vulnerable.

Of course, how V perceives you would help a little.

(Definitely not short-stacked.)

One thing to consider is not only sizing on this river bet, but what size would you bet with the nut flush? If you'd bet the same amount with the nut flush, then I don't mind the sizing. If you're betting more (or less?) with the nuts, your sizing here opens you up to a bluff shove from the button because he may be able to recognize you don't have the nuts when you bet $550 into $950. Of course, this also assumes that the button is smart enough to pay attention to any of this.

This is a general issue I see playing PLO. Many inexperienced players vary their bet sized by the strength of this hand. In this example, they'd be $700 with the nuts and maybe only $350 with King high flush. This is a very exploitable weakness if you can find it (and I find it exists quite a bit with new PLO players)
