situational Q: bdfd fills

past few sessions i've encountered this situation, IP and OOP hu.
i'm betting OTF and OTT with top or second set, when the bdfd fills I either check and face a pot or opponent leads for pot. If there are straight draws from flop or turn they miss.
What steps do you take or thought process go through to ensure not being exploited yet not paying off too much?

That sucks. If v has seen you fold in this spot before hes pretty likely to do it when the spot comes up. I think you need to evaluate how v plays his draws thats youve seen shown down and if hes the bluffy type or not. Im a station so I call as I feel like they just dry fb it but youll be shown the nuts a lot
