Hello,

Currently looking into buying a solver, mostly for PLO use, however NLHE would be a nice addition since i play both games. Trying to find the main advantages/disadvantages of PLOcalc (from pio) compared to monkersolver, not much information can be found online on which is the easiest and most effective to use. Any thoughts?

I did buy a new computer with decent specs (CPU Ryzen 9 3900x), so while computer power won't be super amazing it should do the job just fine. Vision does look very nice in usability and quickness, it is fairly expensive however 1200$ a year for something that does the same as monkersolver just with a nicer interface and some presaved boards seems fairly expensive in my opinion.
Have you used both monkersolver and vision or just vision?

You need 126gb ram + to run any sort of decent sim on monker

I have used both vision and monker and vision is super easy to use and fast... you can get so much study done over a short period of time...

If you want to solve 100bb+ stacks, you will need 256gb+ Ram. Or to make a very simple tree.
