Poker Stars $3/$6 Pot Limit Omaha Hi - 5 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

BB: $633.00
UTG: $600.00
CO: $954.90
Hero (BTN): $1204.70
SB: $969.25

Pre Flop: ($9.00) Hero is BTN with A 2 J 5
1 fold, CO raises to $18, Hero calls $18, SB calls $15, 1 fold

Flop: ($60.00) 4 3 K (3 players)
SB bets $58, CO calls $58, Hero calls $58

Turn: ($234.00) 2 (3 players)
SB checks, CO bets $232, Hero ?

SB is kipa58, his donk bet % is really low, like 6%, so I expect him to have the set or a 567x type of hand. CO looks like a fish, 47/22/1.5/78 hands, haven't seen him before, has low flop AF (0.6) and a really high turn one (4.1), this hand happened against him like 5 minutes ago on a different table and he insta left after it

How often do you expect CO to have the nuts here and what might be his check/calling range on that flop after raising preflop?

Call turn and evaluate river. I'm not sure what else you can do.

We can definitely fold the turn. With 2xrrfd otf I like raising for value

Thoughts (never played with kipa but know he's been around a long time and that you're a regular):

A. CO may barrel the turn, but shutdown by the river. CO may also call the turn drawing to a chop/nearly dead with 45xx or 2pair+ hand. Raise turn. Even a min raise.

B. CO may think you have some weak 2 pair and try to move you off the hand with a big bet by the river. then we call turn, call river.

C. Kipa will not only be checking his set on the turn here, but his nutted 56xx here on the turn 100% of the time. The fish betting after him and your reaction to that bet is pure gold. Seeing as you're both regulars in the game, he should know your tendencies to flat 56xx in this spot or raise with it. And whether your flat on the turn makes your hand face up as A5xx or 44xx, 33xx.

I just fold. I could peel one but I everytime I do I end up hating myself on the river.

People just don't bluff that turn much 3 ways. He opened from CO and called a donkbet so sure he can have 56 very often.
Sure there are some guys that turn random K*** into bluff here alot but most ppl dont.

Just fold the turn. When he bets the turn 3-ways after such a dry flop, he's either going to have 65 or A5 pretty much every single time and the reverse implied odds on the hand are huge.

Read my mind. ONe questiion,
When the co called i was going to fold on the flop. Is that too conservative? Why overcall here if we are folding when we hit like in this spot?

I snap fold assuming the fish is passive (and most are)

Given your read on his turn aggression and previous history I think its a tougher spot though probably still a fold.

I'd definitely fold and it makes you wonder if the hand is playable preflop.

On the button with the Co opening can u really ever fold this preflop ?

Yeah, I think the decision preflop is between 3-betting and calling, since PFR is limping 2/3 of the hands he plays and raising only 1/3 I chose to call. I think without the history and the read on villain on the flop it's an easy fold, the real question is what other hands besides 65xx and A5xx may he do this with since he has shown some weird moves in the past?
