we got a razz, a stud,a 27 tournament and so on on sunday but no plo one...its a shame! i dont care how pokerstars does it as long as the buyin is over 200 and its not 9max!!!

its time for a new sunday major, lets do it

I wouldn't mind seeing a $109 PLO, a $215 and a $162 that run concurrently with the Sunday Warmup, Sunday Million and $162 Sunday 6max.

I think a lot of recreationals won't prefer the 6max option (for obvious reasons), so I think that a big money 6max should be offered seperately. We want to cater to rec's as much as possible, and I know that a lot of recreationals don't like 6max tournaments (sucks for us, but hey, we should be happy to get to play with the recs regardless of format).

Personally, I think 8 handed could be a good compromise. I have never had a problem playing 8 handed live PLO, I think it would work well for the 109 and 215.

Maybe they thought the WCOOP label attracted a lot of extra people (e.g. 2-card regs chasing leaderboard positions) but just a 'red weekly' label won't be that attractive.

Besides, they maybe thought that there are already weekly $215 and $530 that don't enjoy big turnouts.

One thing I forgot to mention is that, in the NLO8 PKO, KO $ are awarded solely to the winner of the high half of the pot

, so it's more like PLO

Pokerstars reps in PLO forums have asked us to go and ask Bryan about PLO MTT request. -->

On a sidenote Pokerstars reps have told me they would launch the regular Sunday PLO MTT during PLO week. So I assume they are gonna run it every week from now, but obvs best if a Pokerstars rep confirm that.

$82 is better than $109 because the latter is compatible with Steps tickets. There might be an argument that a $215 one wouldn't attract half as many runners (I said 'half' because the rake is $15 vs $7).

well maybe, but the Omanias stayed busy after the omaha promotion.

I think a part were players just for the promo.
This week were almost 1500 players.

But I think next week it will get 500+ players.

Especially if extra promotion together with the other sunday majors announcements. To promote it like a sunday major.
