Hi, had a wierd spot earlier. I guess my standard play its just to fold or 3b preeflopp but big fish in BB.

Im still new to omaha, think iv'e played around 60-70k hands or something so i get myself in this wierd spots all the time. How would any of u play this turn?

Pre is very bad and is what got you into this mess.

Postflop you're overplaying a bad hand. I don't like the flop raise. I think I'd check back the turn as played but I might be influenced by results.

Pre's a little bit light, should be a fold, but I like raising better than calling on the flop if villain's aggro/C-bets a lot, and I'm never doing anything but bet/calling on the turn.

I actually don't have any problem with the way the hand is played. Maybe raise more on flop.

Turn is a call vs. an unknown but it doesn't take much to convince me otherwise here.

Your almost at a spot where you have to call solely on the pot odds. You need 28% to BE and if your straight is your only outs then you have 20% of pot so if he is ever semi-bluffing then your great or has J9 here then your looking at around 32% which makes it close. Your line seems somewhat weak on flop so I could see him shipping a little weak.

Other than that I don't see what else you can do earlier in the hand because without further information it's hard to put him on a hand; I suppose you could sometimes check the turn and call a lot of rivers as assuming he has a straight draw he is drawing roughly 32% and might bluff a lot of rivers thinking you were on same draw.

Obv where i am i never folding, just wonder if there is any huge misstakes from me in the hand.

His play is great

On the loose/thin side of standard, but definitely more standard than yours.

Thoughts on checking the turn? Probably bad, but I slow down pretty easy with top two when someone calls my reraise on the flop on a fairly dry board and I pick up nut outs.
