does stars ever do "family banning"? meaning "this guy looks like a relative" of the guy we just banned so hes not allowed to open an account. same address etc. or even going to more extremes. same last name, different address, but lives in the vicinity of the banned guy? that should be something easy to detect.

This is a very big deal.

To the people implying Pokerstars is incentivized because of rake, etc. Remember Amaya is publicly traded now; that means they are held to high standards for systems integrity, fraud, etc. And also how they respond to these types of issues.

It would be like a fraudulent charge showing up on your credit card and them telling you tough luck. I wouldn't expect much in the way of refunds like you get with your credit card, but I think the fact they are publicly traded is a + here, if nothing else for bad publicity as a motivator.

Pretty sure letting the bots play under the radar with a very slowwwwww effort by stars to stop the bots is probably the worst possible option.

If anything a huge effort to light a fire under Amayas ass by using social media to "help" them become better at improving their awful security.

The only way it would impact amaya is that it will scare the **** out of rec players, so it would be marginal loss for amaya and pretty big disaster for lot of people itt.

Banning players won't discourage the cheaters...only criminal penalty will.
