Re: Massive bot ring on PokerStars and how to spot them

E.g. if you find an example where Fedor was in the pot and someone else than seregaxx squeezed than all of them went all in and you find a hand where the 2 suspected guys dominate each other like 2 flushdraws without any backup or something. That would be some kind of counter evidence.

I think it should be enough to check their aggression when 2 or more are on the same table. It should be skyhigh, right?

Re: Massive bot ring on PokerStars and how to spot them

if most of the suspected players play regular tables instead of zoom, it might be because of the fact that you can observe regular tables from other computer(without login on stars) and you can use there software which helps you playing

or they play regular tables because they can sit at the same tables

I dont see any other reason why to play regular tables instead of zoom. Especially when u are playing so aggresive

Should run same report for various known high volume non suspects as well to get a spectrum.

Also isnt this a massive obv red flag for stars to look for anyway????

Re: Massive bot ring on PokerStars and how to spot them

Alepato sits in for maybe 3 sets of cards dealt and always when he can wins an all in pot he just leaves to not leave any suspicion. None of these guys talk to me!! I speak my native English plus Russian, French, German & Italian but no response and the guy has an avatar I think of a juventas football player.

Ok I think a data key logger is some how getting either on to our own computers if a hacker or inside influence gives these guys our personal details.

Look up the definition of a data key logger is: it runs in the back ground taking screen shots of your screen and in milliseconds can send this data to the villain you play!

Ok I found a virus from pokerstars themselves and they have not explained why their Trojan horse XC.EXE run of the back of at least the UK's pokerstars.Exe??

Norton anti virus and McAfee call this a high risk Trojan horse supplied by unknown running after pokerstars.exe is run!!
This virus is a Sonar a holistic being picked up as it trawls your pokerstars files or anywhere else for data they don't have permission to read.

If you block XC.EXE then the software goes in to update mode and again tries to plant XC.exe on your computer.

Without this file the casino games do not work but it was the first time In a long time I had a good days winning streak. Maybe I'm crap?!

But I'd like pokerstars to tell us exactly what this virus/spyware is?
Both Norton & McAfee still class this file written by pokerstars as a high risk virus.

It would be nice to hear from pokerstars to tell us what this file actually does. I know as I evaluated it but I'd like pokerstars to be up front and tell us all before I do.

They allow these semi human bots, seat scripting & Huds and now viruses seem ok?

It breaks there own terms and conditions.

Good luck at the felt and hope we all get to the bottom of this. In no way am I saying pokerstars maliciously put this virus on at least every UK based computer but they should be made aware that two large anti virus companies will keep blocking this file until pokerstars tells them what this virus actually does. I've been in the computer business at the science end since I was 13 and 33 years later I still am heavily in to computing & electronics as a trade.

Don't know it has been mentioned, but the high amt of squeezing v likely occurs because the player knows there is an A in the muck.

Re: Massive bot ring on PokerStars and how to spot them

I made some custom notecaddy stats to color code players that fall in to confirmed bot stat ranges :

Hands: 1k +
VPIP = 15-34
AGG% = 38-100
BB 3bet/ SB 3bet ratio = over 1
Squeeze / 3Bet ratio = over 0.89
Check-Raise (HU pots) flop = over 15
Flop Fold to CB vs 1, SRP = less than 46

This is the list I got:
Games PLO ZOOM $25-$200

Re: Massive bot ring on PokerStars and how to spot them

if it gets to the point where the games are bot infested is there anyway pokerstars could block 3rd party programs running in unison with their software? I know this would stop the use of HUDS but game integrity is obviously much more important.

Re: Massive bot ring on PokerStars and how to spot them

I have played 87k hands vs Seregaxx and many hands vs the other suspected accounts. I have played them almost daily the past 1,5 years. Pretty often the lineup of a table was me plus 2 or 3 suspected accounts. I have lost a lot of money vs some of those accounts and I never understood why. They make clueless plays but seem to win a lot of money (now I know for sure they do because of the graphs).

Seregaxx and Fedorsaysev have unorthodox playing styles, but I would be suprised if they are bots tho. I chat with Seregaxx every session and we are always trolling each other.

I am not gonna play normal tables anymore before I know it's all legit. Just zoom for now...

I assume you are the guy with house of cards avatar?
It doesnt need to be that they are bots but just colluders, I always was confused how fedor could get away 3betting this much against more than 1 player, the ace in the muck explanation makes sense.

@Pastafiore
Yea i know, but as you know I am a table starter what means I am often playing 3 or 4 handed vs (almost) only suspected accounts. Rather play zoom because of that.

My educated guess:
The bot developer decided to focus on PLO because of more dealt cards per player. The bots therefore can get away with some leaks because the equity advantage gained by knowing the holecards of other players is so enormous.

Re: Massive bot ring on PokerStars and how to spot them

To me the most obvious way i can tell that they're bots is like Dankness and Pasta said. The amount of consistency that they take in making stabs at the pot is absurd. In small pots if its checked down they will bet a certain % of the pot like 100% of the time and ill just call every time and they will just have absolutely nothing. No reg thats an actual human being could be capable of stabbing so consistently in every pot it just makes no sense. Fedor in general has done some absurd absurd things that i was just thinking how can someone who plays as much as he did and is winning as much as he did do this??? It seemed literally impossible i was absolutely shocked when i found out how much he was making. This really clarifies things for me. I know showing hand histories in general isn't going to solve much but.... No human being who plays PLO this much can snap call the turn there. He has to be a bot.

In a pot where someones already allin i know for not many chips but 3 way pot he gets checked to twice from me and both of us are showing weakness so he just stabs huge... and then decides to call? Because its clearly not a person. Seriously no normal good reg would EVER EVER do this. After i lost this hand i showed it to a friend and said "the fact that he makes money scares this **** out of me" little did i know he was more than just stupid.

I am on your list, but for myself i can say that i play lower levels more aggressive then higher levels, simply for the reason that i dont feel comfortable playing that agressive at 2/5 and sometimes 1/2 (yet), but obviously not always, one session i might decide to be very agressive another i am extremely tight just feel like playing like that...

Re: Massive bot ring on PokerStars and how to spot them

Not sure how people can move forward playing without the thought in the back of there minds (although I think it should have already been there to some degree) that this is going on. If the biggest winners at the stakes have been able to do this without getting caught, they can change the settings and be back at it.

Wouldn't have thought that they could have the capability to know what the other bots at the table cards are in real time. For pokerstars to anaylze those situations properly is going to take a lot of work and someone with a good understanding of PLO. Looking at how certain accounts play in certain situations with a certain range of hands against certain player types with/without another botter in the game. That is going to give some people a headache who have to do that and make sense of it all.

Now moving forward, everyone is going to be paranoid. How can you see these stats for a guy who is one of the biggest winners and not have say wtf is happening

Even if everything is totally normal and this guy happens to have the most unique approach to PLO that no one else shares, how can you feel comfortable playing with him. This is probably another topic for a different thread but really who knows, no way to really know.

you're right, it is damn hard to play vs the suspected guys, knowing what's going on. it is always on the back of my mind that "he could know another players' cards". not to mention that when i 3bet fedor oop i feel like a complete idiot right now...

pm me if you need hands for specific accounts, should be able to provide for everybody 200+player a big enough sample

i was shocked where i saw fedora graph first time few month back, since judging by his play i always thought he´s kinda braindead in a lot of situations, but yeah knowing removed cards would explain a lot of his weird 3/4bets or postflop plays

Truly sickening, played tons with half of the players on that list. Seemed like either spewtards or chasing crap draws 24/7. However, I didn´t win vs. them. At some point >110 BIs under EV in 100k Hands, Stars and FT combined. Need to get my old db and check more stats.
Currently fitting into the "bot stat range", too: rookie8906, icewaterwhip, maxover, aleksleon

---

On FT, there were at least 3 Bots running.
Two of them (SN were like Istwan_xx/sazkab) basically had the same stats over 150k hands and didnt play a single hand vs. each other, biggest pot between them was 110BB. Reported them to FT, nothing happened obv. One month later they were both gone. Makes you wonder if they are even some kind of "prop players"
