A lot of good pieces but not nut ones A lot of good pieces but not nut ones

The game is 2 5 and is loose passive.

I had AQJ3 in the small blind.

5 limps, I complete, BB checks.

Flop: AJ3

I check, BB pots (passive guy, but just lost a pot in the bad call), 4 calls and now I could be facing the nut flush draw and a set with that many callers.

My question is, what stack depth should I restrain from check raising the flop, and start calling, if I had 50BB the SPR is 7, and for 100BB the SPR is 14

w/ 50BB or 100B just raise pot and call it off.

You guys sure? Going broke in a limp pot with spr of 14 in a spot we could be dead?

You could be right, and what stack/SPR you dont check/raise, 200bb/SPR28 ?

Forget to mention that leading is a strong possibility for any stack size.

A bettor and 4 callers on the flop already. live pokers.

Running into hands that dominate us becomes a concern if there are still significant stacks behind after a flop check raise. I think we would be losing money in the long term if we are playing OOP on the turn and river in that spot (say 200bb +). Whether it is less unprofitable to go passive at those high SPRs and thus rarely take down the pot idk ..

A full pot check raise is around 50bb I believe. Thats my idea of the ideal stack here since it maximises fold equity and minimises the future bad spots.

sure you could be getting it behind but its plo and vs made hands you have some outs and you crush some draws and stuff

getting heads up in this pot is ideal. best way to accomplish that is to just mash it here. everyone limped pre and you checked so someone having aces is unlikely, if you run into JJ its pretty much just a cooler and you still have plenty of equity vs that hand. i can't really think of a scenario where you are really destroyed here unless you end up in a 4 way all in or something.

Lead flop and its not even close. Why take the chance of everyone checking? C/ring once checking makes some sense but you are narrowing the living hell out of their ranges where even your top two and FD are not a huge favorite. Terrible assumption that someone cant have aces just because it was limped pre, fish and good players limp AA especially if the AA are really weak.

So you saying in some scenarios I can even lead/fold?
