villian 1 -- xxxx

hero -- jjxx

v2 --??

pf: not sure, prob hero limps from utg, v2 calls, maybe other calls, v1 raises to 30, hero calls, v2 calls. this would fit the post flop betting postition, pot size and the usual dynamic at the table.

v1 was very aggro, raising alot preflop and post flop that pattern had developed.

my first time playing plo live, i had built a second buyin of 200 to 1650, v1 had about 500 - 1000.

flop: a5j well duh

checks through

turn: of course it's an ace

v1 leads 100
hero calls
v2 folds

river no change, maybe an 8?

v1 bets 300

hero ??

i want to fold, he's bluffed alot but not potted the river I don't think on a bluff. it's too strong and i have have been pretty tight, i have something strong on the turn to call his bet.

V1 is really aggro, you've completely underrepped your hand and you want to fold a boat? No.

Kinda how I felt about it. I also thought I was beat and called anyway because I suck at poker.

Lost to a55x

Thanks for the feedback.

It was a reasonably easy if gut wrenching fold because Ace Trips (no house) usually and should bet small in this spot (35% to 40% of the pot), achieving 3 things in one: a) To be called by worse trips, b) as a blocker bet to not get bluffed off, and linked to the blocker bet c) to bet fold which is cheaper at say $125 than it is check calling $300 with trip Aces.
