Playing 5-5 Big 0, 7 handed, most stacks between 500 and 2K, I have 1700.

I pick up A-2-8-Q-Q, nut clubs. 25 to go. I'm in next-to-last position. Flop comes rather remarkable, actually not sure I have ever flopped this:

3-5-Q, two clubs. Obviously, nut low draw, nut flush draw, top set.

Four players in the hand. Check, check, I check to button probably not too brilliantly, luckily he bets his short stack of $80. One dude in between calls it. I pot it to 400.

Dude has me covered, tanks and folds, showing face up 2-3-3-4-6 ... set + mini-wrap + low obv (if I'm only trip queens in his mind).

I thought he should have probably raised the button short stack bet, in which case he was involved when I would rereaise. But he called the 80 and then folded for 320 more. I also thought he probably could have re-raised my 400. Actually that is probably his worst option???

We have never played with each other. Game was shorthanded late, getting ready to break up (possibly one explanation for the fold??).

Wow. So we run twice with all in guy. He wins top with two runners to big straight. I win bottom with double nut 7c on river. Dealer inexplicably tries to give him the whole pot with me with double nuts on bottom. Really? So I split the pot head's up with that extraordinary flop. Almost no profit.

Did this guy make a great fold or an way overly tight one? I haven't played much Big O, I like PLO high only.

Villain made an ok, not particular unusual fold - read your hand correctly as better made hand or monster draw or both.

Ripping it on the flop when you have everything is not correct - may give away how strong you are - you can afford to stay patient while overwhelming favorite. I agree betting flop yourself would have likely been more effective.
