When calling a raise in PLO, how does an Ace in your hand effect your hand's value was opponents range?

Obviously Blocking AA is good when we have a hand like AQQT for example. Our ace, however, is often a dead card when it is up against AA.

We all know there are players who have AA close to 100% when raising or 3 betting. I am thinking of players who will be more balanced in their 3! ranges..

The importance of having an ace can't be overstated enough, but maybe you're thinking about it wrong. Having an ace is the biggest reason in RFI and 3-betting. For example AQQT is often a 3 bet since you are blocking AA and unblocking KK which is hard to play vs a 3 bet. While KKQT is more often a call since you are now blocking KK and QQ and not blocking AA.
