Villain is playing pretty crazy

he 3bets 69% pf and calls only 20%. However he only bets flop 35% and almost never slowplays. Only time he slowplayed was when he donk/called w/quads. So pretty much if he checks he's weak

i like how you played this hand. I wouldve bet a little bigger on the river ~625 but i do like your bet a lot more than ~825 or so because i feel it credibly represents a wider value range.

giving bad players good odds to call seems really bad here, especially if you had a credible flop hand youd probably be vbetting bigger on this river

Agree with Krmont. Like 755-885 on river better.

but villain is bad, so he don't know we would bet bigger if we were going to vbet.

i like op's line, but i prefer $~600ish as ben86 said above.

to people saying we should bet closer to pot, you think villain will fold stuff like 654x if we bet full pot? i mean, he isn't going to fold any str8, we want make him fold his missed draws and his sets/2pairs. no way a set is calling if we bet $600.

do we ever fold a 4 if we bet 850ish here?

not vs ourselves and i would not expect anyone to fold a 4x straight

I think the river sizing is fine so long as it is consistent with your previous betting history with strong hands.

dude, this is wrong. villain is playing crazy wild style, 3betting 70%. do you really think this kind of villain is paying enough atention?

don't need balance bet sizes vs bad players.

'Bad players' can make a lot of technical errors (3betting too much, playing too much out of position, over valuing hands) but those mistakes are often made from not knowing the theory. Not knowing the theory doesn't mean not observant.

I believe quite a few 'bad players' pick up on predictable bet patterns in heads up matches.

That's just my opinion anyway.
