1/2/5 PLO with $10 straddle majority of hands
Hero: $1200
Pro (makes living playing poker): $600
BB Luckbox (sickest heater of his life): $6,000
Button (no reads): $550

Button straddles $10
Hero dealt QJT3 in cutoff.
BB raises to $25, pro calls in hijack, hero calls in cutoff, button calls.

Flop ($100) AJ2
Checks around

Turn K
Pro bets $100
Hero calls, button and BB fold

River ($300) J
Pro checks. Hero?

I think pro has to have QT here. If I bet here, I could easily represent kings full or KJ, even J2 I believe. What's your betting frequency to avoid a chop?

With that hand, i'm definitely betting this river at high freq. As played can't see him having boats too often.

Fold preflop, your hand isn't fantastic, sure it has some nut potential on some wrap & pair+SD boards but the dangler & lack of nut suits makes it not so good multiway.

Value bet river you have a good J blocker to lower the combos of hands that may be playing as a x/r OTR and you can even fold out chops sometimes.

Do you seem like the kind of player who would call with two pair on the turn? Do you seem like the kind of player who would check the flop, call the turn, and bluff the river with a busted flush draw on a scare card? Is your opponent the sort who would bet a set of kings on the turn, then check his boat to you on the river because you would bet too often when checked to?

Given the J in our hand I'm going for value. Sure we may have some fold equity vs QT if we bomb it, but we can also get called by worse. Our hand looks like Kxhh and a pro will find some calls here.

If we didn't have a J its tougher, but I'd still lean toward betting.

If you're villain in this hand, who considers checking a boat on the river to induce a bluff from a flush draw?

Fold pre as the 3h is a complete tangler.

I don't think you're range is as wide as you think, here's why.

When you check behind the flop it eliminates a lot of these hands from your range. You'd bet the flop a high % of the time with KK with nut flush draw, two pair with flush draw, most combo draws basically. Not as frequently but still quite often you'll be betting the wrap K,Q,10. So I am the villain here would be given you less credit for the above.

When you call 100 on the turn you should have the nuts, or big combo draws like set + flush draw, two pair with flush draw etc, unless you have other plans for the hand. But given your flop action I'm eliminating a lot of these. If you had the nuts with a redraw I'd expect you to raise, ask yourself what you would have done with QJ102

I don't think you get any better hands to fold the river, I would be surprised if you get Q10 to fold the river, therefore if you bet I would consider it to be for value.

Personally I would check this back sometimes and bet sometimes, it's situational, stack and player dependent for me. I would ask myself does he ever call with worse and as said I don't think you get the chop to fold very often
