You don't need remember me guys, that I am bad at this game. I know that! Poker and Omaha is one of the sickest
things..You win, you lose, you get money and you lose money. If you are sucessful, you can blame another people for being bad, playing bad, make wrong decisions. But who cares? You all crush the game and know everything. I am a lifetime losing player who have fun to play and losing some money to you guys, gods of omaha.
But don't teach me how to play..after ten years of omaha, I will never understand this game deep enough to be one of the best. I am one of the guys who never make it. But who cares? Life goes on.

Depending on your goals, skill level and if this is just a hobby or not, then you might want to not use such a large BB bankroll at the smallest stakes. Rake is brutal at PLO. The micro stakes are a rake trap best avoided if you have the money and skill level. Some have said it is best to get to at least PLO$25 as fast as your bankroll can handle. But if you are just learning, then playing as low as possible is probably wise.
Whatever stakes you start at, best of luck at the tables

I used to play $5/$10 and $10/$20 PLO online a few years ago before I went busto.
If you have time my original thread is worth a read, I made around £200k playing £1/£2 holdem in underground cash games and was also playing mid stakes PLO online.
I will probably try and get another few thousand dollars together and just jump straight into the 25c/50c PLO games instead
And so this mystical streak continues of not flopping sets to two-pair hands. I can't remember now, a couple years ago I think I posted that the the streak broke and that I did finally flop a set to a two pair hand. Then a big covid break. Tonight two more such hands, 6-6-7-7 and 8-8-Q-Q, zero expectation of set and indeed both missed. I continually show these hands to neighbors of face up if the situation allows, verifying that the run continues. 30 years, 1 or zero sets to two-pair starting hands. Just absolute twilight zone and mindbending to look at it happen as a rote < 4:1 shot. And actually it has gotten beyond mindbending to where I realize it is zero % and no exasperation involved any more.
Good idea with three pair in the hand, it's getting down pretty dusty odds to flop a set ... could even flop 3 sets in a hand. Just remembered the other day in showing the two 2-pair hands, some 35 years ago before this uncanny streak, I flopped 8-7-4 to 8-8-7-7. Then it came 3-3 or 2-2, I forget. Was getting action and a tank on the end. So I took the two 8's and the two 7's, set them apart and told him he could kill either one. He did it and called. This guy owned me worse than any player ever in my career, so I got my rocks off, but I think it cursed me.
Because everybody whiffing on commenting on the extreme, impossible, ongoing anomaly a THIRTY YEAR no set to 2-pair hands is just pure meh. It's less than 4:1 and for maybe a thousand trials, it went to zero or ~ zero. It happened and is happening (and will continue to happen??).
Lets approximate 500 trials. How many standard deviations from the expectation is this? ~24% shot goes 0-or 1- for 500. SD's are meh in reality ... there's plenty more where that comes from.

Got it in for $350 pre w/ AA vs five players (straddle in front of me was up to $160 in a 1/2/5 game). Thought I couldn't lose on the turn and then the 88 shoved for about $1,500 and was snap called. I ended up in third.
