Help with Hutchison point system for PLO Help with Hutchison point system for PLO

While looking into various methods of quantifying PLO starting hands, I came across Hutchison's point system for Omaha High - also discussed in this forum several time in the past.

Putting aside how useful it is for higher stakes (I plan to use it as part of a larger ensemble model), I tried implementing it code and encountered a few issues-

1.
I found two version of this point system: one in Hutchison's official web page, and another in various other web sites.

Anyone knows if these are two implementations of the same ranking, or if there's some actual difference between them?

2.
I'm having trouble understanding exactly how straight points (STEP 3) are calculated in edge cases by the original article.

For example, how are the straight points calculated for a hand like AJ73?

3.
The original article (linked above) mentions AsKdQhTs as worth 31 points. My calculation has it on 27 points (subtracting 4 due to the straighty ace). Am I missing something or is this a mistake in the original article?

Any pointers would be helpful and very much appreciated :)
