Trying to get better at PLO. Everyone except BB is a whale/fish and MP is probably capable of doing some crazy stuff. How many streets is appropriate with this hand? Should I bet betting the turn/river and just folding to a raise? Does your line change if we are 3 to the flop instead of 5?

Thanks,
Jason

Not calling this pre unless players behind are extremely passive. Double suited is called. Flop you should have a polarised betting range. Imo I would be betting a mixed strat of Ahigh and Khigh flushes here (could probs be checking all 2nd nut flushes, not sure) . Obv betting more nut flushes and I would imagine you should probs only bet that completely unblock continuing ranges so Imo this hand is a check of given we have a pair unless you are clear that no one is check raise bluffing you here. OTT mandatory bet and same otr I would think.

Take my post with a grain of salt cos I'm pretty trash

you should definitely start betting the turn, you can even start betting the flop. pre is a fine call.

Didnt say it in post, but for clarification, one guy is 98/60/20, another is 60/10, another is 50/10. Discussions of polarization and folding are not applicable. Just how do we get the most money.

How the **** can you rationalize checking the turn?

You def. do not want to stack off vs a loose passive with second nut flush.

Call pre on the button seems fine to me unless SB or BB are 3-betting frequently.

Flop check seems OK for pot control. SB and BB can still have the nut flush and checking to the raiser to set up a check-raise. Unlikely that UTG or MP have the nut flush, because UTG should c-bet with the nut flush and MP shouldn't expect to be able to check raise with just one player behind him.

Checking the turn seems like a huge mistake to me. Very unlikely someone is checking the nut flush on two streets in a 5-way pot. If raised on turn I certainly get it in v. UTG or MP, probably get it in v. BB and fold v. SB.
