i find it unbelievable that sites aren't more invested in game integrity, thats what this whole online poker thing is founded upon: the assumption that your playing real people, the RNG is legit, the money in your account wont disappear

when phil naggy says that its difficult to differentiate between the frequencies of winning players and bots, this is crazy to me. the bots have such distinct freq's (because they're playing massive volume and sharing hole cards obv), no winning player is going to have an astronomical MWCB freq

when sites become unresponsive, IMO the best thing to do is vote with your feet: play somewhere where the operators are actually competent and concerned. we have a bunch of options in 2019 (some more of a hassle than others), and we should never have to play at tables where we are scared of cheating

I have a different take on some of your points.

It doesn't surprise me game ingrety isn't a priority. Listen to Phil Nagy talk, he is of average to below average intelligence. This guy isn't finding bots without the help of the poker community. And like most businesses they dont go out of their way to admit they have a problem. Also for a poker site it isn't about game integrity, it is a rake, rake and more rake. And a lot of these sites are straight up TINY in size without the bots. The number of games running on a day they suspend suspected bots is an eye opener on how many few games run. I bet many of these poker sites accept at least a certain level of bots running around just to make their poker site look bigger. And sadly many of these bots are table starters. The average person doesn't like starting tables but the f-ing bots are on ever table at every limit and often are the first one sitting g down or starting a second, third, tenth table. Also it is worth noting that Pokerstars can't even detect all of these bots, there have been several cases where PS has essentially said, we dont know how you are cheating but we know you are cheating and are therefore banning you. A poker site run by a mouth breather like Nagy doesn't have a pray without major help from the poker community.

Furthermore, I disagree with your point about having a lot of options. In the USA most know about WPN and Bovada. Chico is a lot lesser known and the others even more unknown to average player. The options, especially in the mind of USA players is very limited. And if you are talking rest of the world, Pokerstars has used their massive market share to say f you to players in terms of benefits. And Party Poker has done a lot of shady stuff behind player backs. And anonymous poker is just a way for poker sites to avoid bot issue since it is harder for player to gather lots of data on a particular player. It is uncool that a new site like RIO is going anonymous and so it seems is Party. I would not be surprised to see WPN go anonymous in the next 5 years.

Player unity could get a lot done, but poker players aren't known for looking out for each other or having a long term view. And dont get me started about poker players that 3nd up being fan boys for poker sites. DAMN if a large portion of even 2+2 were Pokerstars fanboys wanting to go to the Pokerstars Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory for a tour and come back to tell us how much PS cares about its players.

I dont disagree with you that something needs to be done. But I think you are way off if you think game integrity is a priority to these poker sites. These sites care about nothing other than rake and to a smaler degree bad publicity on Google searches and youtube which might lose them future....RAKE.
