Does size matter? questions about playing short Does size matter? questions about playing short

I am trying to wrap my head around how to play flops when short, on a general/structural level. I dont play short, but i dont reload when I get down to 40bb and I usually try to build my way back up. I have always studied 100-200bb play, playing short is a big gap in my understanding

Here are some questions Im trying to figure out:

1. in SRP and 3BP at 40bb effective, how does out strat change IP vs OOP respectively? (in terms of sizing, how we are using our distribution, etc) For example are we playing more merged OOP?

2. I understand that we are playing an equity driven strat when short, and that our GII threshold is much lower. Shoving flops seems to be a modal option when short, but I also know that monker advocates the use of small sizings even in 3BP's after we have committed a large portion of our stack. In SRP and 3BP, how are we utilizing small and large sizings respectively on flops? How does position impact our sizing?

3. Is OOP playing a more merged strat with larger (PSB) sizings in general?

I know these are broad questions, im just looking for general insights about the shape of our strategy on flops. Any feedback much appreciated
