since ignition inserts players into available cash tables, and does not display available tables to players, i have always assumed that this system prevented bots and collusion in PLO

i have been noticing groups of 2-3 players simultaneously: joining tables with min-buy in, sitting out at tables, and leaving together.

This is what i used to see on ACR, although i always thought of it as more of a sign of collusion

Am i just seeing coincidental events which happen when you play so many hours?

If people are cheating how are they pulling this off? Are they dropping tons of bots into the pool so that multiple will fall onto the same table?

Does anyone see this or know something about this?

With anon tables you have a very bot friendly ecosystem, all the bot rings are broken up when players with trackers break down their stats. Also it's a known thing that bots play together and collude and share hole cards. The sharing hole cards is a much bigger problem in PLO than in NL cuz card removing is a huge thing.

you will also see groups of accounts who time down the exact same amount each hand, usually like 5 seconds on the dot

one thing i look for is people buying in for particular amounts like 24.01$ at PLO25 or 49.03$ at PLO50. I dont know for certain, but I think people might be using this technique to set up multiple accounts on single tables, using these atypical buy ins to ID their own accounts as they stack accounts on each table

as previously mentioned, seeing several accounts sit at the same time with the same buy in also doesnt inspire much confidence...

I dunno I've tried to coordinate w ppl and play them huplo on iggy and its ******ed how we both will be trying and sitting out on table w/ no opponent at the same time. Or you'll be at a table w 1 guy sitting out so no cards in the air, and finally they will leave and youll be moved to a full table. Their algorithm has some flaws is the point im getting at, which would make card sharing hard.Running a bot however would be pretty simple and id imagine go undetected if you can get passed their captcha at login

Since nobody knows how big the IG pool really is for all we know there's only like 10 tables of PLO ever running making it easy to find a buddy through trial and error. Remember stickyrice? People would find his table pretty quick just be hunting for someone with a similar stack size.

If there are bots on Ignition I hope they continue to make more of them

for anyone who plays uPLO on Ign, I would really advise you to pick your games super carefully, and watch the action on any given table while waiting for the BB to orbit over to you. There is clearly collision going on even at these stakes, its not rampant but its there, depending on time of day

I never saw anything at PLO10, but starting at plo25 I think there are some tables to avoid. There is always some degree of uncertainty with the anon dynamic, but I think collusion is happening starting at plo25 or so

I recently have been playing a fair amount of 2/5 PLO on ignition, and I've been wondering the same things. I noticed after one hand (which I saved) that three of the players sat out at the EXACT same time. Coincidence that they all had checked the "sit out next hand" box? Who knows, but it came off as very shady to me...

Any more news on this?

Im not trying to sound like an idiot, but bodog/ignition lets you see everyones hands 24 hours later.... If youre concerned about superusing/cheating I would start there.....

So it depends on their position but they might have sit out next bb triggered. I have set mine beforehand and the small blind ahead of me sat out which triggered me to sit out
