5/5/10 live, villain is top nlhe tournament player with plenty of plo cash experience, seems quite tight and doesn't get out of line much. I have ~ 4k and he covers me. He is in the MP and i look at AA68 in the big blind and make it 120 after his initial raise of 30. Another person called his pre flop raise and folded ater my 3-bet. Flop is 775 and i make a c-bet of 180. He calls. Turn is A. I bet 650 and he calls. River is 5. I check, he bets 1600, i call. He shows four of a kind 7s. Live tells certainly he seemed very confident and calm throughout the hand, but can i ever get away from this?

I wish he had ace 7 like he will 95 pct of the time and you saved him 2000 so I wouldn't have had to read this hand history.

Get away from this ?????? You are one of the few people out there that wouldn't lose the whole stack .

In all honesty you should prolly be losing stack a lot of the time here

When you think about it more, only hand i am beating is A7, 75 and A5 which is certainly likely but kind of weird. I am repping AA , why is he betting on river? Remember, guy is lets say not such great PLO player, doesnt know so many dinamics but is very tight and competent in these situations, i just dont see him jamming river with 75, A7 perhaps. He is chcking most of his 3rd and 4th nuts there for sure, not the type to go for value bet with 3rd or 4th nuts in this situation i think.

Folding on the river is absolutely terrible and should never be done basically ever.

Likely never checking river as I want his 7s to call. If you do check, I can't imagine not check-raising the rest in after. Nobody is folding this without some insane tell. Going broke here 100% of the time.

I checked to induce a smaller boat value bet from him (which now that i think about it doesnt make too much sense) or to have some pot control if he has quads. I guess we are going broke regardless, i can not imagine folding just wanted to make sure.

I come here to ask opinions of ms/hs regs for a particular spot that i have some small doubts about, whether they want to share it or not, and what i get is a bunch of trolls, retired players (now trolls) and small stakes grinders saying how this is a no brainer.. lol. The only way you are EVER folding this hand is if you (correctly) bet the river and he shoves on you. The way you played it you are never folding and therefor your thread is aids.

It is you who assumed that i am being a cry baby for some uknown read that you have, but it is not the case.
