A) You shouldn't show the opponents holdings in the OP, as it influences the feedback you'll get (at least hide it in a SPOILER in your post).

B) I would probably either bet-fold or check-fold that flop; there are only 3 cards that give us the nuts. Yes we have the King of diamonds as a blocker but we have one-pair and a gut-shot; it's unlikely we will improve and so we allow our opponent to bluff or value bet us with diamonds. Plus it's pretty tough to CAP there range when we are OOP, so we they get to take us to value-town with a one-pair hand (with little room to improve) on multiple streets.

C) As played I would be check-folding the river for a pot-size bet; he has little reason to bluff here and all we have is bluff-catcher.

i like the flat pre. OTF I x/pot, and jam this turn.

As played I think only raise or fold are on the table, and raising only if you would play a made nut flush exactly the way you have. Otherwise it's a fold.

I cr river but to each their own. If c/f river is the line u take with this hand you probably run out of bluffs for the lines u take for value.

His line with those sizings seems not optimal so would hope he’s not a reg but impossible to tell with ignition

C/c is probably too ambitious but player dependent I guess.

I check call flop everytime, I check raise river.

I don't see much merit in a flop check raise...

But we already have two pair... we are targeting not many hands that are better than ours and not giving him the ability to bluff us when we have a good bluff catcher.... why not check call at least one then decide to turn your hand into a bluff on the turn/river pending what comes after its proven your two pair is likely no good....

You make excellent and valid points, I see merit in your line. I have two retorts. The first is I want to play the hand as closely as I would had I had the goods. Second, I find the turn gets checked back a lot for pot control and they snap off rivers with weak to strong made hands quite often. I think a more aggressive line can fold out a set or perhaps a weak flush, or maybe I'm just an ambitious dreamer.

this is a medium to high flush about 140% of the time. just fold.

it's really not so clear that he pot controls with second or third nut on the turn and he definitely would value bet lower flushes if checked to again. and only the queen high flush is really a clear call against a large raise because it blocks part of your perceived value range.

would you automatically call a pot sized raise with the jack high or 8 high flush here? there's a good chance that's the top of his range.

This is a 3bet all day long at 100bb versus a BTN opening range (hell, vs any range). This hand needs to push it's preflop equity and reduce the SPR to realize it's equity efficiently. We can stack off on a lot of flops but cannot deal well with many turn transitions OOP so build a pot and bring the SPR down below 5 whilst the going is good.

Postflop it is the interesting spot where we have a decent made hand (top and bottom) with all the nut blockers but since we are pretty confident our opponent never valuebets worse, we have to decide if our hand works better as a bluffcatcher or a bluff. I agree these are annoying spots!
