Hi all,

Hero isos MP1 7-handed AdQs9d9h8h over one limp to $50, rec BB 3! $150, straddle (loose V), hero, limper all call. 4-handed. $1,700 eff. with loose V.

Flop ($600): Ah-Qd-7d. Hero has top two and nfd, some backdoor equity. 3!ttor jams $480, loose V calls, second short stack limper calls AI less. I assume my AQ is no good against the short stack 3!ttor so hero raises to $1,200 for a nice side pot against loose V, who calls, with a nice overlay with my nfd for the main pot. I didn't want to jam flop for fear V would fold for a larger sizing but call a smaller one. Thoughts?

The rest of the hand is pretty boring.

Hard to iso in 5 card…

Was 50 full pot? I would make sure to full pot if im trying to iso.

This is an ugly spot imo. Its 5 card so all the sets are possible and KJ10xx of diamonds are most likely blocked. Our equity should be close to 35-40% but in reality is probably 15-25% max.

On one hand i dont see how this hand can ever even considering folding. But on the other hand i dont see this hand ever a) being currently good and b) drawing to many live outs..

Sigh jam and reload

Sorry missed the question.. ya i think you want to jam to charge draws and deny equity…

Last thing you want is loose v in there w KJ88x or K1066x those extra set outs and back door fd can make a difference.

I tend to jam and deny as much equity as possible in these situations

The only counter argument is that you will need to show down so i guess playing passive / trappy here is fine too so a small sizing works.
