If I remember the action correctly, there was a raise pre, and it went to the flop 6 (maybe 7) handed. The flop and turn checked through, then we get here:

Seems Matt made a standard, good bet (pot was $460 before he bet). Antonio makes a questionable raise, and it's up to Cal with the overfull. What does he do, and what does Matt do?

Happy Thanksgiving

What a rigged run-out

they both call. really bad decision to raise 66, especially with a player behind him, but even heads up.

Is Cal's check on the river from the BB correct or can a smaller bet get value from trips or straights that won't bet when he checks? Obviously, it depends on his image and how the table plays.

Antonio's raise also depends on his image. Matt does not have a lot of chips left, so Antonio's raise is reasonable if he thinks Matt will make a crying call with fives full, which does seem like his likeliest hand. I can come up with a table dynamic where the raise makes sense, but I don't know if that situation is in play here. Maybe the raise makes more sense if Matt is a latter position than UTG, where his range is presumably wider. If a thin raise for value makes sense here, should Antonio raise smaller?

seems like turning 4th nuts into a bluff is too GTO for this table

That is a heck of a run out. Regardless of the action, the 77 is an easy raise on river. The TT is an easy shove. 66 is an easy fold. Then 77 who knows. Terrible spot. If I'm playing 10-20 online I pay it off, if he has some crazy read live he can fold but if you fold 77 there, even a small amount of the time, you might as pack up shop and stop playing.

The 77 bet, the 66 raised, and action is on the TT. A check-reraise by BB represents TT or 55. Arguably, only an idiot would raise with anything else, given the stack sizes and previous action. The third player protects the pot somewhat and makes bluffing less likely, so BB should have a value-only range.

It is not an easy shove for TT because a shove looks so strong that BTN might fold 77 and only call with 55.

Saw the hand live. 1010 just called and I agree with his decision. Most likely only called by 55 if he raises as played. Horrible raise by the guy with 66

Antonio is not deep enough for this to be a flat AND he is a payoff wizard that will call with 5s full. And he will raise with all the lower houses.

I like making it 2k more to target his 5s full range. He will go over the top with 7s or 6s full as well longterm which is a snap call.

Only if Antonio was 10k+ deep and Cal had extremely strong live reads he was nutted I would just call.
