Live 2/2/5 8 handed ~$1k eff

(Sorry, don't remember bet sizes exactly but they should be relatively close)

Couple of limps to V in sb who pots to $30
Hero has AAT9 in straddle repot $110 only V calls

Flop ($220): KQ7
Hero cbet $125 (??) V calls

Turn ($470): 7
V leads $190 Hero calls

River ($850): T
V pots Hero ??

Result:
Spoiler:

Hero tank calls. V says "I have a Q." Hero shows and is good

So some history, V is a ~30 year old Asian guy with sunglasses and a hood up. I've seen him blast off on scary boards with 0 blockers (bet turn jam river on flush board with K high no flush cards and showed). Seems to be hyper aggro. When I sat down the guy next to me specifically pointed him out. I'm probably perceived as having a tight image due to just trying to play nutted hands pre in pos (vs this guy) and still folding marginal hands in BU/CO even when it limps around.

Pre:
Standard. Don't think anything needs to be said here

Flop:
I have a nut gutshot and bdnfd and decided to cbet to fold out hands with some equity, but thinking about it now I really don't want to get x/r and be forced to fold (right?). If I do want to cbet, what sizing is best? I admittedly put out a generic half pot without really thinking. Better to take a free card in pos here?

Turn:
His lead is super small. Can I call here given that there's a decent chance he just has air and I probably don't have a 7 given the 3b pre? If not, what hands do I want to call with? Obviously boats, but that's not enough. Nfd? JT + fd?

River:
Spoiler:

To be honest I ended up calling due to seeing him blast off before. I have no clubs in my hand and block AJ J9 and TT, but is he really taking this line with those hands? Is this a reasonable call or just total spew?

Apologies if you're tearing out your hair while reading this HH. I fell in love with this game after finding myself hating playing NLH cash, and I'm just trying to learn and get better.

Maybe check back flip when you have the backdoor fd. Vs this opponent with those reads it seems like river should be a call. He’s repping what kk qq?

Definitely checking back flop, we aren't really pushing much equity with a bet. River call seems decent with your blockers and read vs this opponent.

Check back flop, vs a competent opponents range youre gonna get x/r on this texture often, which calling that x/r youre effectively committing yourself to stacking off since theyre ripping turn most the time. As played you def have 7's in your 3b range(or should) tho, but hes either got a 7 or the paired turn caused him to spazz and he could have complete air and assuming you think he has the most 7x and will fold anything but KK or QQ. That being said this river is awful for your hand, a lot of his bluffs got there but I think based on your description I still call. However check flop and this hand plays itself much much diff as he will lead turn and pot river still and youll have an easy call/call
