I'd call as we normally have a lot of air here. Flop c/c is also worth considering imo.

Am I too tight thinking this is a fold pre when UTG?

if he was 9 handed it's probably borderline this is 2 off the button.

I think flop is a check due to having a pretty large range disadvantage.

given your bet, on the turn you can't realistically expect anything better to fold so I like the check / equity is too good to fold. check raising seems too thin given how few hands you're likely to raise for value here and how many higher equity bluffs you'll have. unblocking nut clubs is nice but I think the extra equity against his stack offs is more important as the nut flush draw just isn't that much of his range.

river is possibly a gto call in that you beat all bluffs and unblock big clubs and because 77 and JJ are likely to value bet like this having a 7 is a slight benefit, but having a 5 in your hand would probably be a higher priority. it's probably borderline.

Vs BB that would be true for sure, but how many wheel hands is button really flatting with?

probably similar to what you're opening in mp but the bigger hands for him also 3bet at a much higher frequency than the lower cards in his range whereas your range is whatever you open with.

maybe to call it a large range advantage is hyperbolic but i think there definitely is one (and am playing with solver results about how many hands are advised to open in mp and flat an mp open).
